  1. I am beyond frustrated with the whole Covid-19 testing scheduling. I am certain we will wind up at Walgreens, but I had hoped to book CVS since they schedule 14 days out. Unfortunately, CVS appointments for the rapid test (which is what we want) are not an option in the Orlando area for the date we need. I just talked to an employee at AdventHealth and the cost per test blew me away, since they aren’t filing on insurance. Dang, that’s CRAZY to me.
  2. You can pay to have clothes laundered or hand wash items. I have never packed that light, but it is NOT ridiculous.
  3. All my questions and research about CVS and it was for nothing. I logged in today, since our preferred pre-cruise testing date would be available on the CVS appointment calendar. The date was there, but not a single CVS was offering Covid testing appointments.
  4. We uploaded our vaccine cards when we had only one booster, but then we were able to get our second booster. I did not see an option to upload our vaccine cards again on the RCCL app. Ours on file and in our hand will not match.
  5. “With the Minute Clinic” - Does this mean you saw a provider or went through a drive thru option? Our preferred pre-cruise Covid testing date should open up tomorrow on the CVS app, and I’m hoping to snag six appointments. Any idea how far apart they schedule them? I have no experience using them any place for rapid testing as we have a drive thru lab so close to our home that we have used them the few times we were worried about exposure. (That lab is a 24 to 48 hour results return place.)
  6. I don’t care if my insurance is billed. That still makes it free to me, unless CVS is charging an office visit copay.
  7. I’m curious about the CVS testing, too. The option that pops up a whole lot is “appointment with provider,” and I need to now if that means we will be paying a copay just to get our nose swabbed. Sounds like I might need to call a couple of the Orlando CVS locations near Disney World to understand their process.
  8. Our prescription plan is CVS Caremark, so I am hoping we can still get a free drive thru covid testing there before our RCCL cruise next month. When I look through the CVS app to schedule, I see no indication there should be an expense to me.
  9. I'm another future cruiser needing Walgreens to make up their minds. It's a little nerve-wracking to only see the 3 days out option, when there are six of us that will need to be tested pre-cruise.
  10. Not only will we have kids in the (multigenerational) mix, but my husband LOVES burgers. He should not eat them at all, but when he wants to be “bad,” a burger tends to always be his choice. We haven’t eaten at a (land-based) Johnny Rockets in, at least, twelve years, but it might a great Sea Day lunch for us. I know there is a charge, but is it all you can eat? Are reservations required? Does the wait staff sing & dance, like they used to in the restaurants? (That was always part of the fun.)
  11. I looked at the deck plans and see that Mariner has a library on Deck 5. For any recent cruisers, does it still exist and is it open, regularly? We have a college junior who will probably be taking an online class during our June cruise, and I’m hoping there will be somewhere she can study besides the inside cabin she will be sharing with her sister. Or is there a way to arrange a quiet space for her somewhere on the ship? We are new to RCCL, so any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.
