Not sure where to ask this, we've only cruised on Carnival. We have family that wants to cruise to South America. I'm not sure if Carnival does this. Does any one know? If they don't can anyone recommend a cruise line that does? Thanks for the help and please move if this needs to be some where else.

Yes, your boarding pass will have priority on it and your baggage tags will have FTTF logo. Welcome to Platinum.

We will be turning platinum on our next cruise. Just looked at the luggage tags and they have priority on them but no FTTF logo. We are showing status of Platinum.

We sailed Sunshine April of 2016 and had ATD. We were in the AFT dining room.

We do ATD and if we find a table and wait staff we like we just ask for them each night. Last cruise we were able to have the same area with same staff.

We just ask for ice. I see where some are asking for towel animals. I love getting these but I've never had to ask, just always get them. Has this changed? Do I need to ask for them now?

Yes. You have to pick a check in time but you can check in whenever you get to the port. It makes no sense but that's the way they have it set up.

I don't see a place to check in for our cruise. I guess it's to early because we don't sail until next year out of Port Canaveral.

So if I'm platinum do I need a check in time?

I would love to do this but we don't cruise there until April 2018. Guess I can check back to see if they still need them.

This next cruise is our first platinum cruise. How does staggered check in work for us?

I'm trying to help a friend who has never been on a cruise before and I had a list I had made from all our our cruises but my computer crashed and I lost it. Could you post things that have helped with your cruises so I can make a new list and I can give it to her? I remember some but kind of on a time crunch here. She wants it tonight. :eek:

I never got a response for our reservation so I sent in another request. I received a confirmation after sending in the second request and then a few days later I received a second confirmation for our reservation. It's for the same time and date. Since both are for the same time, same date and same booking number I didn't contact them. We should only be charged once, correct?

Remember several posts back that I told you that I have an 11 year old son. Well I don't anymore *sniff*. I actually now have a 12 year old son. Feb 11th was our son's birthday, and we got to celebrate it. The jet ski ride in Aruba was his "official" present from us, but he was sung to at supper by our waiters/waitresses.

I'm I correct in thinking that the Captain's Party that is on the Journey cruises is like it was in the years past? You meet the captain and they have finger food and free drinks like: Whiskey sour, rum punch, etc. and they introduce the different staff aboard the ship?

Is it normal that they will add the tip to the free drinks? So, you have to hand them your coupon and your S&S card to get the drinks and then they'll add the tip?

My water purchase doesn't show either, but I figured that's because the purchase process made it appear as a gift - even requiring me to include a gift message. So it's a gift from me to me:rolleyes:, not one of my "orders". At least this is the goofy logic I came up with to explain the water not showing up with the rest of my orders.:o I, too, will be printing my order confirmation and taking it with me.

That's exactly why :) The person I talked with at Carnival said that was the reason it wasn't showing was because it appears as a gift.

I purchased water for our cabin and got my email confirmation but it doesn't show on my booking. I called and they said it wouldn't show but everything was there, good to go. I just printed out my email confirmation and will take it with me.

Im going on the cruise the week before she goes into dry dock. We get back to canaveral May 8th. How will that affect our cruise? If at all....

I'm really enjoying your report. If you could answer a couple of question? You said that dinner took awhile, what time did ya'll get seated and how long did it take? We have ATD on Sunshine and want to see the production shows, hopefully the first one, and I'm trying to time it. Thanks for the help.
