  1. I was not aware at the time of booking but that's fine, they will drive me nuts without talking to their friends anyway. Peace and Quiet can for sure be purchased. ❤️😄
  2. This is GREAT to know, I will for sure pay $2 to keep tabs on my two teenagers lol This is also good to know, I paid for 3 devices with one package so we should be able to use them at the same time, that's how I read it when I booked it so I'm glad to see some clarification of my thoughts. I need all the thought clarification I can get these days 😄
  3. Enjoy your solo cruise!! I cruise more often with my kids and my mom than I ever do with my husband and my mom was/is the same way with my dad. They say sometimes you marry someone exactly like your parent and boy did I (lol). Neither my dad nor my husband do well on vacations over 4-5 days in length, they both get too antsy and somewhat homesick. Thus, anything a week or longer, it's my mom and my kids and I on the road. I have not done a true solo vacation but it is in my future!! I also just downloaded this book because the Star Tribune review made me the most curious 😄 Happy sailing and looking forward to joining from my kitchen table!
  4. I am doing the same on our next cruise. My kids do not need their own login's and we just need to be able to communicate.
  5. I hope your wife starts feeling better soon!! I also have Covid right now (at home thank goodness) but it's day 6 for me and I'm feeling almost 100% now. I'm not sure how your travel home looks but just be sure she takes her time and stays hydrated/nourished as flying after being so sick can be daunting. Hopefully your next cruise will be a totally different experience. ❤️
  6. I am truly hoping that since I will be 6 weeks out from onset to cruise that it will be well out of my system, but just preparing what to do just in case.
  7. Get the antigen test prior to the cruise or get one now while I'm still sick? Is there anything I should be doing NOW or just wait and see if I am still positive? I had a virtual visit with my MD last week when I got a positive home test and have been home the entire time. I am hoping this won't be needed but oh my word is it confusing.
  8. THIS. Legend claims you're actually still on that flight 😂
  9. What is a COR exactly? I currently have Covid (fully vaxxed and boosted) and am 6 days out from onset of symptoms and still testing positive. Our next cruise departs in 38 days and I am terrified I will still be testing positive by that point. I know it is somewhat far-fetched to be positive that long but it has happened, is this what the COR is used for?
  10. I work for the airlines and so does my husband (different companies) and I would HIGHLY suggest not flying in the day of your cruise. We ourselves do not do this as we know things can happen and not just weather. The only time we fly in the day of is if it is a port within driving distance (NYC/BOS/CHS/ORF) for us, so if you know what hits the fan, we can still drive and make it to the ship on time. Also, FYI to anyone else, be prepared for possible crew shortages this summer. Pilots are retiring at an astounding rate and the small regional airlines will be lacking crew, make plans and make up back up plans. This is going to affect ALL the airlines, not just one or two.
  11. Good Morning!! We are booked in Suite GTY (JS) on our upcoming sailing on Adventure OTS. I have been looking at the stateroom availability via RCCL website and it looks like JS staterooms (most suites) are filling up fast. We also have bids in place with RoyalUP for GS/GS2/OS. I have never cruised with at GTY before, how does it work? Will they sell all the JS and move us up a category? Will they skip awarding us the JS if we are awarded at RoyalUP anyway?
