Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I understand having a problem that is not visible or even easily explained to people. I have a severe phobia of bees and if I do try to tell somebody that, usually trying to explain a panic attack while apologizing for running them over, they are very nice and try to be helpful but usually end up saying something like "I understand, I don't like them either". They are trying to be nice, but there is a difference between not liking them and jumping out of a moving vehicle, trying to jump off an amusement park ride, and peeing your pants as an adult while sitting in your car because you are afraid to get out of the car and run to the house. After years of therapy, I can at least get to my car to go to work and stuff most days but still have people that I am close to "on call" in case I have one in my house or something as well as various anxiety meds and sedatives. Please try to be understanding, and before getting angry with somebody, try to think of a few reasons they may be doing what they are doing or not doing. Try to assume that it may be something you can't see or don't know. One of the reasons that I love cruising; no bees once sailing.🚒
  2. Have any smokers recently been to Cozumel or Costa Maya since the new law passed. I am hesitant to book an excursion or all inclusive and be stuck there all day without a cigarette. I know, bad habit but fact is, it would not make for an enjoyable day for me. No lectures please, just looking for some experiences that smokers have had recently. I have read the way the law is worded and it makes it seem like you would not be able to smoke anywhere but a private residence? I cant believe that an area so dependent on tourism would be that strict. Thanks in advance for any insight provided

  4. We are on this one as well. First time on Mardi Gras for us.
  5. Will somebody that is going soon please report back on how this is going and if you can smoke at all once off the ship? Husband and I are going on Mardis Gras first week of May to Cozumel and Costa Maya.
  6. Thanks everyone! It showed up this morning. Everything done and ready to go. πŸ˜€
  7. Yep.Just the vaccine thing, check in, and print docs.
  8. Thank you! This makes me feel a little better but we didn't do verifly. We are just taking our vaccine cards and everything to the port like we did for our cruise in November. I'll check again before we leave tomorrow for the airport.
  9. I received an email telling me this needed done. I sail on saturday so three days out. It told me to go to my cruise manager but everything is showing done in my cruise manager. I do not see a health assessment, just vaccine attestation.check in, and print docs. Should I be looking somewhere else? Thanks for any info you can give.
