  1. Love this photo. I’m so happy everything went well. Beautiful memories made for some beautiful people. Cheers to the newlyweds. Can’t drink but I will raise my cup of Oxycodone high.😉
  2. 4:30an awake to get another pain pill. My pill cups are stacking up…………… Hmmmmmmm….Reminds me of something. Soggy Dollar Pain Killers.
  3. Thanks Sue. This may be the first “Knee Review”on CC. Should I call it Pappa’s got a Brand New Bag” (Reference to bag that collects urine from my catheter). Part of me is still in cruise mode. I have been showing all the nurses some of my pictures from last week. Them seem to really be enjoying it. Sad that none of them have not ever been on a cruise.
  4. Room is really nice. 2:45am the pain is going pretty good. New knee is barking back at this dog. If I am being ridiculous with all these posts like t’m still doing a live review I can move over to my live review? Thoughts??? I don’t want to hijack the conversation. I know it’s not about me.
  5. Thank you very much Pat. I will tell Linda your comments. We FaceTimed earlier with the dogs. It was hilarious as they would tilt their heads as they recognized my voice but they weren’t sure who they were looking at on the video screen. We did end up getting all my prescriptions so that crisis is adverted. I am very impressed with @Jimbo and his Christmas trees. I think he’s got me beat with the numbers At one point I had 10 up including inside and outside. I had to scale back because of my knee. Well done Jimbo! Could you imagine if we decorated a house together with both our decorations? EPIC!!
  6. Settled in With Oxycodone, Tramadol, crackers and water. I Have just settled my brain for a long winter's nap, probably more like 2 hours. See what I did there a little Clement C. Moore?😉
  7. Actually with surgical center it’s a private hospital for the orthopedic surgeons group, private very nice room. Low nurse to patient ratio. And the food is by a outside vendor off site. When I ordered the Mac-n-cheese she asked me if I wanted it with cheddar or white cheddar. I was impressed. Thank you.
  8. That sounds so good! Do you know I’ve never had a dirty vodka martini? I need to try one. It’s extra olive juice that makes it dirty correct?
  9. Crystal I am so sorry you are dealing with this. Ultimately I’m sure you made the right decision for you. You are young, beautiful inside and out and now is the time to focus on you. I have faith that you will be better, stronger and happier in the future. Thank you for sharing. I’m here for you and you do have a great support family here. We love you and will help anyway we can. I may not be able to “run errands for you” right now but I know this, this @Sea Dog is your emotional support dog!
  10. Si sorry that I missed something with you. What happened???? I’m amazed too. I still can’t believe some insane hoss send some people home that day. This definitely a two nighter. Poor Linda having to take care of her brother and me. She never complains but I know the weight of knowing that her brother is dying slowly is tough on her. She tells me that their is good result for me, being pain free.
  11. Not quite Chops or Giovanni’s but the surgical center has all their food catered in and you can eat 24/7. Taking it easy.
  12. Yep did a lap and a half already. more walking later tonight then more PT tomorrow. Pain is settling in now. Boy do I wish😉
  13. Yes as much as I would like a Soggy Dollar painkiller I think I will stick with the Oxycodone/ Tylenol/Tramadol/Toradol cocktail.
  14. Well I did my first walk around the surgical center floor. Pain is setting in about 5-6 but I’m doing ok. I like my PT she has a good soul.
  15. I did a Michael Reference on my last k ER replacement and the anthesiologist said he heard that a bunch. So this go around I did not make a wise crack. That Propofal is great stuff.
  16. Yes this is a separate surgery center and is 10 times nicer than a hospital. Everyone is great. Only issue is that they had a hard time inserting a catheter so an urologist had to come in a scope me and insert because I have an enlarged prostrate. I will will have to go home with the catheter and have my urologist remove it in 10 days.
  17. Surgery went well . I now have matching metal. In a room now. Weird in recovery as I had a spinal block and Propofal and I could not move my legs or wiggle my toes. Finally wore off and I’m starting to feel them. All is good but starting to feel some pain. Bring on the pain meds.
  18. Deva Ju! Hard to believe I was just here almost two years ago for my right knee replacement. Now it’s my other knees turn. Thanks to every for their well wishes. Ready to get this done. I’ll report back when I can.
  19. Good to know. It Will interesting to see how my knee replacement responds on Beyond as my sailing will be 5 months after my surgery.
  20. Yes it completely flabbergasted me. I know he was under stress but still uncalled for. Thank you Sue. Thank you Francis. Hope the seas get better. I Thanks Sue!
