I just did this. I called in to book the hot glass for 2 and the pre-cruise 20% off sale price. Since I had non-refundable OBC, that price was deducted from the 'pot to spend'. The 5% will show up as a credit on my on-board account. 2 different reps confirmed this. I guess it was done this way because I had a pot of OBC to use, and wanted to use that first. BTW 1 rep said no you don't get the additional 5%! He said it would be the better of the 2 promos. The person who helped me also said it was noted in the Celebrity website about what Captain's Club benefits there are for the hot glass.

Wow, I plan to make one of these. How big is the jellyfish? How big was it wrapped up in bubble wrap?

I am signed up and want to make a jelly fish. Do you remember the cost of it. How long ago was it that you make your jelly fish. And I hope you can tell me approx how big if was, when you added more bubble wrap in you carry on? I need to plan out space in my luggage, which will mean bringing less clothes LOL,

I'm new to the drink packages! LOL They gave us the Classic Package

We have the 'Beverage Package' for each of us, as part of the cruise deal that we purchased. We don't drink alcohol. We do drink specialty coffee, tea, fresh squeezed orange juice, soft drinks, bottled water and smoothies. How does the beverage package work? Is there a limit, per day, per person of how many we can get of each? Also we have gratuities included in our cruise deal. Will there be additional gratuities for each of the non-alcoholic drinks that we get? Thank you!

I plan to use OBC to book a shore excursion through my Celebrity 'plan your cruise' login. It offers a 15% pre-cruise discount. The excursion will cost more than my OBC. I haven't booked it yet, as I am hoping there maybe a 'flash sale' as some people on the roll call spoke about doing a few months ago. First, when I select it, do I enter my credit card and it charges me straight away? If so, what happens it there is a better price? I've read on the CC boards that you can remove the shore excursion and then purchase it again at the new better price. Obviously I haven't selected it yet. I'm hoping for some insight before I begin. It does say I can purchase the pre-cruise discounted shore excursion prior to November 2024, but I am eager to get a plan in place. Any information on the process would be appreciated.

We bought a 'cruise package' vacation which included everything (gratuities, wifi, drinks). They also gave us OBC. How do you know if those OBC are refundable or non refundable? We don't go to the casino and we also booked most of our excursions privately. Is there a way to find out in advance?

What happens if you book a shore excursion with the cruiseship and the cruiseship is NOT able to call on that port due to unsafe conditions to tender in? Do they credit back the OBC money you used to book the excursion? Or do you loose your OBC?

Thank you. I am under the impression that there is a 'Captain's Club' welcome reception which doesn't get posted in the 'dailies'. The one on stage prior to the show is the general one. Do you remember when the 'Captain's Club' welcome reception was? There is usually and 'invite' to attend.

mahdnc and miaminice do you remember when the Capitain's welcome party was? Trying to set the meet and greet for the first sea day and if the event coincides with the welcome party, nobody would come to the meet and greet.

Loving your day to day cruise report. We will be doing this itinerary in November and have booked with Xuan. Did you get Xuan for this port day? We have 9 in total for our tour. Also did it take long to get your sandwich since the que was so long? And on a personal note, were there opportunities to visit 'facilities'?

Did you use the airalo esim while on the cruiseship? Curious since the cruiseline / satellite would not be able to charge airalo (I don't believe) so just wondering if it would work? We are sailing Alaska inside passage soon and very curious about turning on only the airalo esim (global/US Plans) and picing up signal when so close to land. Definitely do not plan to turn on our homebased carrier as I don't want to incur those terrible cruise/satellite charges.

I crochet so it's really cool that they have knitters and knatters! Do they supply the crochet or knitting needles and yarn or do you bring your own project to work on?
