The one I posted was for Odyssey. Just checked the Allure and found different times. Their breakfast 7:30- 9:30 every day. lunch ends at 1:30 and dinner is from 5-9. So each ship different but this gives you a ballpark idea

Listen to Twangster's comments. He is always a voice of reason. Don't worry, get insurance, and enjoy the planning for your first cruise. Sign up for your roll call where you can meet people before you cruise. Just relax and enjoy the journey. Once you cruise I am sure you will be hooked like we are.

Don't know the wording on the certerficate itself but online it says this: IMPORTANT: To use toward the payment of a cruise vacation, reservation(s) must be made at least 14 business days prior to the sail date and/or the gift certificate must be redeemed before the final payment date (at least 10 business days prior to the sail date). This of course no longer applies but the second options does:
To use as an onboard credit, the gift certificate must be redeemed 10 business days prior to the sail date.

I think I would ask ahead of time. This way gives Genie time to set it up. Yes also let him know about the celebrations. Have you given him what restaurant reservations you want? He will also make show reservations etc.

I hope that she will try to redeem online. If they accept she has saved herself a lot of time on the phone. Granys T please come back and let us know how it worked out.

This is what the fine print says on the website
IMPORTANT: To use toward the payment of a cruise vacation, reservation(s) must be made at least 14 business days prior to the sail date and/or the gift certificate must be redeemed before the final payment date (at least 10 business days prior to the sail date). Only before final payment if you are using to pay for cruise. Read the last sentence. If using as onboard credit, the gift certificate must be redeemed 10 business days prior. since you are looking for apply as onboard credit the first sentence does not apply to you. Redeem online as others have said.- 1

Looking at the app now for the current sailing and it does not show The Book, nor most of the times for the Effectors. It does show Tap Factory. So I guess the paper copy is necessary.

I am really confused by this thread. Pins not in suites will have to use vouchers for drinks? Won't that make a lot of work for the staff?

Barefoot cabanas cannot be booked through the cruise planner. Must be done through concierge or genie. can also be done once on board.

I am very interested in finding out if they make any changes to the late night showing of pool side movies with the intensely high volume this cruise. There was so much negative feedback how it drastically (In a negative way) affected the ambience of Central Park late night as well as disturbed passengers in the Central Park Balcony Suites ability to rest..
I too would like to the answer to this questions. I hope that have adjusted.

everyone should complain during the cruise not just on the exit survey. also message to Michael Bayley couldn't hurt - may not help either but would only take a few minutes of our time.

Loved those Automats. Hated to see them go. Worker shortages are everywhere. I can imagine after spending time at home they would not want to return to 7,8,9 month contracts where they would be away from family.

I would hate to have movies anytime in Central Park. One of the best things about the Oasis class ships is that peaceful area. We love to stroll through there at all times of the day. Having a movie blasting would destroy the ambiance....
I fully agree. Even if it shut off at 10PM, what about eating dinner in CP. I have always enjoyed it as a peaceful retreat during the day as well as the evening entertainment.

I believe someone just did a review from that ship.
But thanks anyway...
I am glad that we have more than one review of each ship. Each one brings a different perspective and each person has a different experience. since we have not sailed star class and have one upcoming in November I am very interested in hearing your experiences and about the genie.

I know you will have a great cruise.

Someone took a picture of the boat that takes you to Columbus Cove when they were at Ladadee last week. Don't know how often it runs. But there is one.

I would hate to be having a nice dinner in CP and have that movie playing. What a mood killer.

Used to work for a major cell co and cell tower coverage can be spotty. You never know how an app will behave with low cell or WiFi coverage.
I will be using paper and tech since I don’t have a printer.
We are a community here and we need to lift each other up, not put each other down.
I really appreciate your words. Also sometimes we write before we think of how our words will sound to others. We all have our own opinions but just need to be thoughtful when we express them. I know my way around a computer and apps but I still love my paper compass. To me, it is so much easier to read then the app. So looking forward to this review.

Don't worry what they think. Here you picked an early dinner time that would be appropriate for your child. I could see if it was 9PM and she was tired and cranky. My husband hates that dreaded question of "Whats for dinner" So glad you enjoyed Chops. its on our list for the second night. I am so looking forward to our November cruise on Odyssey. By the way, does your daughter now qualify for C&A status? she can get her own number? Did the acupuncture work? My stress if always in my neck and shoulder blades. Thank you
