I just went to the Royal website and at the top clicked on destinations then Bermuda. It gave me a some info about ships that sail there, excursions, some insider tips and showed some must try foods. To know more about the ship just click on ships at the top of the page to explore what each ships has to offer as well as deck plans. Unfortunately prices for excursions, drink pkgs. and dining can only be seen after booking as others have said. These boards are amazing. Have you visited the Ports of Call on Cruise Critic? I did see that the Adventurer goes from NY to Bermuda in the summer. Whatever you choose enjoy

Karena1 - I noticed that you have taken a land vacation to Punta Cana many times. I live in Punta Cana. I hope we do go back to Labadee. My cruise has both Coco Cay and Labadee so I would get the best of both worlds.

John, I hope that you do will do a live from your Odyssey cruise. There does not seem to be 'lives" from those in suites.

Can you explain a little more about the virtual reality. Are their different scenarios to select from? How long was it?

No_Member_Name. Have you written a review? If not, I think you should and please include what sounds like wonderful pictures. We look forward to hearing all and everything about the Odyssey.

This post covers what happens. She has posted copies of the letters she received about her options starting with post I believe #234 (Its about page 10) https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2821101-a-canadian-takes-on-a-s2b2b-on-oasis-1222-odyssey-1922-11522-hopefully/

I was always taught the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. To the OP this was a valid question that just requires a yes or no answer. $100 bill will be fine.

If Puerto Plata was not such a long drive for us, I would love to be there to see the ship dock. Thank you for your postings. Are you planning on going to Giovanni's Wine Bar. I believe it is an a la carte restaurant? so they allow up to $35.00 pp? Love the food pictures.

I do appreciate your posting this. You are giving your opinion and no one should critize that. You are also stating facts that may influence a person who is on the fence about cancelling.

I too cough all the time. Have a chronic cough that has been with me for about 10 years. It is not a constant one nor do the coughs last for long but when I do cough now people give me the "look". I live in a country that masks are mandatory and most comply.

watching her pull into port right now

I have a long way to go 334 days until my Odyssey cruise

Hope to see your next review. Please do a recap of the Anthem. Your enthusiasm is wonderful

You will have a great time. Relax and enjoy. As for that number of people, I have never felt crowded on this class. It does get crowded after a show lets out and the wait for the elevators is long. We usually just stay in the venue till the crowds disburse. Not sure how many will be on your cruise since I don't think they will be up to full capacity yet. I would definitely call to see if you can book the dining package. I have always seen it offered once on the ship. Things are somewhat different they they were post COVID. I hope they will eventually get back to letting you book shows etc. online. Don't miss the Kummelweck (Roast Beef) from Park Cafe.

I do hope the person or persons are ok. If the person had to be airlifted it is no joking matter, if it was not major they would, I am sure, have been treated locally. yes very pricey from what I have heard.

I am in the Dominican Republic. Masks are mandatory and most follow the rule. We had been under a curfew for many months but it was done away with I think it was July. some especially the younger ones are not getting vaccinated. Vaccinations are free. Our numbers were going down but have really increased again mostly among the younger ones and the unvaccinated ones. They have now instituted a requirement to enter supermacados, banks, public buildings etc. that you show proof of vaccination or negative tests. However, like some of the rules here, not all stores are checking. Our religious meetings are on zoom and will continue to be until this is under control. I don't want to be one who infects someone else nor do I want someone to give it to me either. We are all in this together and must look our for each other.

Haiti and the DR are not the same at all. They just share an island.
-
Yes I stand corrected. COVID did make it possible for them to take over.
-
This has nothing to do with COVID. Right now locals have taken over Labadee. They are living there. Since RCL rents the land from the government but there is no government to speak of. The country is under the control of gangs. I just cannot imagine they will ever go back. I think they will take their loses and move on which is a shame, I loved Labadee.
