I would love to see some better TV channels on RCI. On our Carnival cruises we had ABC, CBS and NBC as well as a couple of news channels. It was great.

 

I don't cruise to watch TV either but there are times when I like to chill out in our room, or there might be days that I don't feel quite up to par and would love to be able to watch some TV.

Yes.Carnival uses Direct tv and depending on the ship you you either get Miami or Denver local channels. Much better than Headline news all day.

I might be dumb but if you don't buy a package will you get any internet on your I phone? And how about phone calls and texts?

Has any one noticed that on everglades,miami,nassau,key west,etc you can no longer go full screen. The buttom is gone.

They only list up to may 2016. Any one know why?

The Diamond Lounge is the better deal. I would hit a bar before dinner and a double Jameson counted as 2 drinks. So I only could get a beer next. When we found the deal at the DL we spent after dinner time right there.

This is pretty much what we did. We got off the ship and went shopping. We then went past the "gates." Which take you into the actual town. As soon as you get outside the gates, you are accosted by Jamaicans every 5 seconds asking if they can take you on a tour. It is very aggressive. We didn't like it at all. I know they are just trying to make money, but it was very uncomfortable.

 

However, if you have a guided tour set up through rc, I think they drive you from within the port zone (before you get to the town gates).

Same thing happened to us in Ocho Rios.They get right in your face and won't let go.We will never get off a ship in Jamaica again.

The way RCI wants you to do it it gets so darn thick. Is it ok to just cut away what you don't need so it will fit in a plastic holder?

Wouldn't it be easier to bring a little Windex and clean the glass?

I tried that and it dont work. Too many scratches on the glass.

What did they do to the viking crown lounge?

Any one know if they have a key pad or do you slide a credit card?

Does the $10.00 cocktail price mean a double scotch on the rocks will be $20.00? I have never been to a bar that charges that much.
