1.
It may not be attended at all times, but I believe the cigar lounge is available all the time.
Thanks for your answer.
So, how do they make sure that none of that 'offensive' smoke from the cigars doesn't leave the Cigar lounge and invade the rest of the open areas?
Maybe they use smoke eaters in there.
  2. Actually, lets not assume - your analysis is flawed. The actual percentage of smoking households that might elect to go elsewhere is lower than 20%, not higher.

Did you take into account that other couples that might cruise with the smoker. I know a number of couples that vacation together. When the rule on balcony smoking came into effect they all decided to try AI because most did not care if they cruised or not. So to get a true picture you have to take that into consideration.

I was going to say the same thing. If ships go 100% smoke free we will be looking at AI's also.

  3. Hello everyone! My sister is booking a short cruise on Majesty of the Seas and I wanted to find out what is the best cabin to book. She is booking an oceanview room. Help please!!!

I also wanted to find out about the beverage policy. Are you allowed to take water? I read on their website that you are not, but everyone is saying that they take water. I did a while back. Can a recent cruiser please let me know.

    Thank you!

Decks 5 and 6 have picture windows rather than port holes which are on the lower decks. Avoid deck 7 because thats where people canwalk by and look in to your cabin.

  4. The cruising 'bug' started for us in the late 70's when we'd watch The Love Boat on TV...then we went on our first cruise in 1978 on NCL's MS Starward and we've been hooked ever since. I remember first seeing the Starward, thinking what a BIG ship!! Then the SS Norway pulled in next to it and overshadowed it. But no matter, we loved that ship and sailed on her twice. We're fortunate enough to be going on cruise #20 in November, all thanks to the fun we had back on the good old Starward.

Was that the ship that had the 2 big fins on the back?
