Just realized I have a doctor appointment on the 19th.  Needless to say, it has been rescheduled for the 21st!  I just hope they don't reschedule Edge's arrival!

I thought those were the supports for the jogging track....  Special artwork is good, too.

But I do like how the lights on the hot tubs coordinate with them.  It's all good!

As of today, I see that she is going to be in port from 11/19-21and 11/23-25, then one day turnaround on 11/27 and 11/29.  Not showing anything into December yet, but I am sure it will show up.  Sometimes the Ships' Schedules postings are a little erratic.  HAL is getting their Nieuw Statendam in December, I believe, and she is not even showing up at all!  

Even with Select Dining, you can make a reservation for whichever restaurant you choose, at whatever time you want and, I believe, table size, too.

As of the current listing, Port Everglades is showing our beautiful Edge arriving at Terminal 25 on November 19th at 9:00 AM!

Are those the mountings for the letters maybe?  And the crane to lift them up there?  Can't wait to see!

Better question is: Are they doing the same kind of thing on the port side, too? If not, then probably no letters at this time.  The boom on the crane looks to be long enough to work for both sides, but that is just a guess from looking at this photo.  Hard to tell for sure, of course.

Maybe because the current occupants are crew, they have not yet placed the final furniture set ups.  I don't think they would put the outdoor furniture indoors, either.  Just my guess.

hcat - I agree.  Too much flashing lighting can cause seizures, too, but that is usually more prevalent with strobe lighting.

And, contrary to others' opinions, I really don't like those different colors on the MC.  But that is my opinion, of course.

I believe it is there, but not pulled out from the cabinet.  It uses the full length mirror.  Pretty clever, actually. However, I agree that for those who leave hair and makeup items out all the time, it would be impossible to push it back under the cabinet to make more room for walking.  Perhaps a good place to make use of one of those smaller foldable storage bins for making it easier to relocate personal supplies off the desk, in case you don't want to use the adjacent drawer.  Just a thought.

Once again, thank you SO MUCH for those new photos!  Love seeing all the new beautiful furnishings!

I am afraid, however, that there will be many nose prints on the display windows of Tiffany's and Cartier's, because that is as close as I can dare to get to those stores with their beautiful wares, and the astronomical prices that go with them!  

Our Edge is absolutely a high-end Lady, for sure!

I have been checking the Port Everglades site, and they have changed the dates/assignments for the new Terminal 25.  Originally, Infinity was going to be there 10/24, 10/28, 11/1, 11/5, but now the first assignment showing is 11/10 and 11/15 for Infinity and 11/16 for Reflection.  I wonder if they are holding it open after that for Edge's arrival.  I still can't help wanting to drive over for her arrival.  Could happen.

Hello, fellow Edgelings! (I LOVE that, Bo!)  I have missed everyone, and am so glad to be back with you all.  

If we can get past all the spacing that has been added to everyone's Cruise History, I think we will be ok.  

As with everything else, time will tell.  At least we are back and up and running.  Life is good, cruising is better!  *LOL*

OOOOOH, NOOOOO! Not that new X funnel!!!! No glass on deck, please! Then again, not her new, beautiful bow, either.

On another note, I see that Port Everglades is now listing Terminal 25 as being used starting October 24, for the Infinity. Also on October 28, November 1 and November 5. There is no information at all shown for after November 5 for Terminal 25. So, the really interesting part is that it will be in use starting in 2-1/2 weeks! Should given them plenty of time to work out any "kinks" so to speak. They should be ready and waiting for Edge's arrival.

The ceremony will probably be held in the theater, as has been done in the past, to accommodate all the VIP's and invited guests. 😊

How can you have a "christening" in a theater? Messy. :D

Thanks, Esprit! Do you know where the Edge goes between Oct 31 and Nov 6? I had read in one press release that she needed to leave her berth in Saint Nazaire on the 31st. Maybe they meant that she leaves her construction area and is docked somewhere else in the shipyard? Is the Bahamas stop a time for a bit of R+R for the crew? I imagine they will want to test out docking her there since the two preview cruises are going there. I am so happy that I have Nov 6th and the following few days off to follow her progress. Do you know what date she will be in FLL, if you can say? I'm guessing around the 16th-17th? I will be on her about a week later!!

 

It is very cool to live vicariously through Valentina. I can't wait to hear about her life on the Edge and I really hope I get to meet her (otherwise I will have to eat her chocolates). :D

Maybe they are moving her on the 31st for the delivery ceremony? All that pomp and circumstance needs a really fancy location, you know. ;) And, do we know for sure that the naming ceremony will be at the same time, or a different date, time, and/or place? So many unanswered questions! I cannot wait to hear when they expect her to arrive at her new home in Port Everglades, the new and exceptional Terminal 25! I want so much to drive over there to witness THAT arrival! Should be amazing! (The temptation is great, believe me.)
