Yes, I  cruise solo and book the steakhouse the first night for the wine. The house white is not bad, I  like it.

Both of those things you can check when you board. Easy to get a table for two.

If the spa cabin is $350 total, that is less than the cost of buying the weekly pass.

Both are good for kids. I like the Mardi Gras waterworks better, and the food options. I would take HMC over Nassau, although sometimes it is missed because of rough seas. I like that the Vista has balcony cabins in the family harbor. You can't make a bad choice with either one.

I sail solo and do YTD only. If I like the waitstaff and the table, I stop by on the way out and get the same waitstaff and table for the rest of the cruise. I love sailing solo.

You can request the same table and waitstaff for the cruise. Just stop on the way out and ask. Very easy to do.

I always do MTD, it allows me flexibility and I do not have to be there at a certain time. If I like the table and waitstaff I request it for the week. 

Book everything early, you can always reprice if the price drops.

I love them. I wish some people would follow directions though. Maybe it should be part of the muster drill, how to use the elevators

Not a dumb question at all. It has a light coating of BBQ sauce. The andouie sausage and potatoes are amazing.

What ports? I love the Vista, and I  would take a 6 day over a 5 day unless the ports were much better on the 5 day.

Unfortunately not. They are supposed to add one when the ship is in the next drydock. The spa manager said it is the most requested spa amenity peopleask for. Some people cancel their week long pass when they see how small the area is and that there is no wayer.

The BBQ salmon is outstanding. One of the Emeril selections.

I agree with you about the BBQ salmon. It was probably the best meal I  had on the ship. James is so much fun as a CD. Sorry you missed HMC, we were lucky in January to stop there. I enjoyed your review, thank you.

Absolutely. I saved over six hundred dollars paying off my last cruise with gift cards.

All you have to do is ask in the restaurant for a paper menu and they will give you one.

I was booked in 5208 on the Horizon and it was fantastic. Loved the square layout and I walked out of my cabin and and the outdoor area was right there. I never heard a peep from the havana bands playing. I would book it again in a minute.

Loved the Havana area on the Horizon.

Best steak I had on the Edge. The wings and train wreck fries were tasty too.
