    Costa Maya Chacchoben are the closest ruins to a port and Belize cave tubing can't be matched elsewhere.

    We did Chankanaab where you stand on the platform and were happy with the experience. There was no swimming and you wore a life jacket anyway.

    I'm just off RC again and the neighborhood kids and photographers frequently reminded me that I'd rather be back on VV.

    Mariner only had one hour where it was listed as free play by the pool, no competitions.

    I loved the VV balcony hammock! In your room they have free movies including still in theater titles.

    Yes, interior to balcony won for $50. MSC casino just gives you the balcony in the first place though.

    I found both the food and service were superior on VV. Their entertainment style like most everything they do is different and the ship layout seems odd, but you have plenty of sea days to explore.

    There are no issues checking in early, the hotel knows what you are doing. Same-day, one-night bookings will not have access to Atlantis resort facilities and amenities. Advance booking is required.

    A cruise last month required a long phone call and a "one time courtesy credit" to receive the double points as advertised. They still owe me for the onboard credit they lost and the excursion that did not exist.

    It felt like maybe only a mile on the cruise line's excursion shuttle, but I don't remember there being sidewalks if you are wanting to walk over.

    I don't know if this is new, but my unused Visa OBC was refunded as a cash credit to my (different onboard) card instead of being returned as points.

    I've been on both this year and neither provided the daily to your room. Pick up or use the app. The Virgin app is actually updated during your trip if anything changes plus things like "your room service is on its way" messages made it very nice.

    I pay 50% if it's a straight cash card. Meaning adding it to my cruise next month as onboard credit and not restricted to new fares or something. Add a dot com to my username.

    I would just pay the $10 one or two nights to enjoy a stress free meal in my room. Happy travels!

    I prefer to be at sea both the first and last days with all of the stops in between. Then the private island in the middle of the port days is best for me.
