We would rather spend 2 days in Miami or the Keys. We feel the hassle of embarkation and debarkation are too timely. Check into a nice hotel, always a lounge chair by the pool and a great selection of international foods.

I spend my life in Miami, I wanna get out of here. 😁

I was just offering some additional info. since your response to KTB was an attempt to say they were wrong. Within military regulations, there's some gray area. In the civilian world, as I said before, I have only ever known midnight to be the start of the new day. And since this is the Carnival forum, even Carnival acknowledges midnight as a new day, because when they refer to deadlines, they note the end of the day being 11:59pm.

Now back to the regularly scheduled discussion about how and where the Glory damage will be fixed.

I have heard it both ways, I have been told there is no such thing as 2400 and don’t use it.

    Sorry, back to topic 🙂

Driving home right now after disembarking Vista.

Here is an FYI warning about magnetic hooks.
I took brand new HEAVY DUTY magnetic hooks for the first time.

As I was opening the box, I noticed they were packaged as 2 hooks stuck back2back with a piece of thin foam between them.  I slid that foam out and BOOM they clamped together again with the tip of my finger caught between.  OUCH!  It hurt and bled.  Had to wear a bandaid for the first day of the cruise.

    BE CAREFUL!

    Ouch!

Can you order more than one tail on formal night lobster dinner like you can with the other dishes? So say you get the flat iron and lobster tail, can you have them bring a few tails instead of one? I'm a a big guy and one little tail isn't going to cut it. I was really looking forward to this since we are doing a 7 night next and I really like seafood.

Ive seen people order six to start out.

Having spent my previous cruise days (pre Carnival) sailing windjammer ships in Maine, eating lobster fresh on a deserted isand-what is so great about a frozen lobster?

Stop in a Caribbean restaurant in what ever port, and order a fresh Caribbean lobster.  All Tail, but fresh.

No doubt, a fresh caught lobster is no comparison to a frozen one.

You can order a lobster tail from the Steakhouse Selections ($20) in the main dining room. I do it on every cruise that doesn't have a Steakhouse  restaurant and the tails are so much larger than the tiny ones you get on lobster night on the 6+ night cruises. Delicious and well worth the extra charge.

Oh, I do that too.  They are a bit bigger and seem better than what you would get on Lobster night.
