  1. Since Antarctic regulations only allow ships to have 100 persons at a time on shore, how does Viking handle getting 340 passengers plus support staff on shore each day?
  2. Cabin: 9000 Ship: Quest Date: August 2023 Type: Spa Suite Choose again: Yes Nice really large room with tons of closet space. A couple of possible issues: Smoking area is behind cabin on pool deck. If in port and wind is blowing the right direction you will get smell on you balcony and in room if balcony door is open. No problem at sea. Only had this happen once on 14 day cruise Noise: could be a problem for light sleepers. If you go to bed early you can hear the music from th living room above you. If you sleep in, you with hear people opening and closing the door to the spa starting about 6:00. We used earplugs and had no problems.
  3. Two probably quick questions: 1. Is there a way to find out available shore excursions on a Seabourn cruise before booking a trip? 2. if you are doing an Antarctic only cruise on Seabourn are all shore events included? thanks
  4. Thanks so much for the responses. I think it’s a go!
  5. Considering a spa suite on quest. Is there a problem with smoking area right outside the spa? Thanks.
  6. I’m considering booking a Spa Suites on Azamara Quest and I noticed the smoking area is right outside the spa on the port side of the ship (same as the spa suites). Just wondering if anyone has traveled in these suites and if the smoking area was a problem. Thanks
