  1. Western Caribbean is warmer this time of year. The more southern you get the warmer it is. It's still in the low 80's in Honduras and Mexico right now. The water temperature is typically in the high 70s.
  2. The navigator and mariner both have splashpads for tots along with the Royal Babies and Tots.
  3. The OP said the child is potty trained, they are used the suit as a precaution because accidents happen. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this.
  4. Another reason why we like the Royal Caribbean splash pads, they allow swim diapers. Pools I get but come on Carnival the splash pad's water should be treated and recycled anyway.
  5. No discount. 100 shares to get $100 OBC if you booked at a qualifying rate.
  6. Royal allows swim diapers in the kids splash pads and they Royal tots and babies is phenomenal. We took our 11 month old on a multi generational cruise with Royal and it was excellent.
  7. We had a Premium Vista Balcony on the Magic and it was constantly covered in soot.
  8. The hotel will likely store your luggage before check in.
  9. Awesome, I'm only a lowly gold on Carnival and it's been a while since we sailed them.
  10. Really excited for this. Going on MG for the first time in February after primarily cruising Royal the last 6 years.
  11. No one can predict the future but they've had a complete system failure. Who knows what's going to happen in a weeks time. Going into MIA i'd look hard at AA depending on where you live.
  12. This is ridiculous comparison. Steel vs Aluminum, armor, structural integrity, ability to take battle damage. Warships are not built like cruise ships whatsoever.
  13. Absolutely option 2. Odyssey is a great ship, as is MG but CoCo Cay and Labadee is the better itinerary but that option is cheaper. It's a no brainer. Getting to FLL would be the only headache. 90 % of the water parks are free, all of the ones geared towards children are free. Thrill waterpark is extra yes, and the rides are for people older/bigger than a 5- and 7-year-old.
  14. We do too. Book based on the best deals. We just take the kids out of school.
  15. We got off Harmony yesterday and there were COVID issues with the crew and entertainment staff. Today on our FB group for the cruise it seems like many are testing positive for COVID at home.
  16. Off Harmony today we heard about 90% capacity. Not fully staffed and you could tell. There were a number of crew out with COVID.
  17. On Harmony next week! I have a 3 day airline trip before then and I'm really hoping I don't get sick.
