  1. I also paid recently for our November cruise, booked direct with P&O, and did not receive a confirmation email. I rang them up, system told me it would be an hour wait, answered after 50 minutes. The very helpful P&O call team resent the confirmation and was in my inbox before we finished the call. It confirmed we had both received and additional £75 each.
  2. From Meyer Werft social media, with google translate. Float out due end of August. Time for something to turn: The propellers are now turning on our current ship rebuild, the Arvia. They were installed this week inand are now ensuring the ship can move forward. Or even backwards, like when leaving the building dock at the end of August.
  3. She was not due into Copenhagen till mid day, probably on a scenic tour.
  4. New update from Meyer Werft. Included Jubilee as Arvia is in the background.
  5. Different camera angle this time from Meyer Werft.
  6. We had multiple pending charges on our credit card whilst onboard Iona this June. Final amount taken was as per the invoice outside our cabin door, and the pending's disappeared within days.
  7. We are also on this cruise, spotted it was flight only bookings by chance. I was trying to see if any alternative airports are available, but spotted there were no flights left anymore. Good luck, hope you can get your original flight/booking back.
  8. We spent more than that in a week on Iona after using our OBC, you can not compare your personal habits with others.
  9. Very easy to go over those limits. A full drinks package alone for two adults purchased onboard would be over £1100 for a two week cruise, let alone any additional dining charges or purchases in the shops. (Assuming no discounts)
  10. I believe Sky Princess is/was the current flagship, and Rotterdam was mentioned in a press clip as Holland America's flagship.
  11. No affect at all. Have 7 cruises booked with P&O over the next two years, no intention of moving them. And we will be wating for the next round of cruise launches from P&O or possibly Cunard for a QM2 TA.
  12. I seem to recall P&O announcing a while back that Britannia would remain the flagship of the fleet, even with Arvia and Iona.
  13. I noticed at Costco this week, they now authorise £120.
  14. Arvia funnel components being shipped to the shipyard. Video courtesy of Ems-Dollart Media
  15. We had to cancel one with 24 hours notice, and FCC was available within days. Please also come back on here with an update, let us know how you do.
  16. Us too, two more booked on Iona and a med trip on Arvia in 2024.
  17. Latest webcam update from Meyer Werft.
  18. Cheers for the update. Would love to visit there one day.
  19. Good stuff. Doing ours tomorrow at our local Lloyds. Possibly see you onboard Enchanted.
  20. Now back in print form, had one delivered a few weeks ago. I believe it is the same issue as linked in the recent P&O email. Issue 13, Spring/Summer 2022.
  21. Hi, welcome to the forum. Did you click on the little information i next to Priority Dining? As on my PC this means :- First priority for dining time and table size in the main restaurant (Club Dining only). As has been pointed out, this is not a benefit on Iona and Arvia, as there is no Club Dining. From my personal perspective, I pay the Select price to choose my cabin location above all else, and the additional OBC is always welcome.
  22. I checked recently onboard Iona earlier this month, and multiple figures were reserved for P&O on our CC with the lower amount dropping off when a new nightly amount was added. However these did not linger for more than a couple of days after we returned.
  23. Social media drop from P&O today, but do predate the Meyer Werft webcam above from the 13th June. As she has been floated towards the door and the latest Carnival ship is being constructed in the dry dock.
