  1. Photo from Meyer Werft Fanclub, on social media
  2. She has left the dock and is now in the Ems.
  3. It should also appear on your booking confirmation after you have paid your balance. As far as I know, OBC for existing bookings does not show up on any P&O web pages.
  4. Update from Meyer Werft on social media: It starts on Saturday: Arvia is expected on the 5th. November around 7 o'clock und in the morning left Papenburg and transferred to Eemshaven. The following schedule applies for the empassage, which can be postponed in short notice according to weather and tide conditions: catch. 06:30 ship in standing position (Papenburg) catch. 7 o'clock passing the dock lock (Papenburg) catch. 11:45 am passing the Friesen Bridge (Weener) catch. 15 o'clock passing the Jann Berghaus Bridge (empty) catch. 18:30 arrival at Emssperrwerk (Gandersum) catch. 10:30 pm happening the roadblock catch. 00:45 am happening in Emden Arriving in Eemshaven is Sunday the 6th. Planned for November. After technical and nautical tests, Arvia will take the course at Bremerhaven for later delivery to P&O Cruises. !! ️But beware! All data are subject to wind and weather conditions, water levels and therefore without guarantee. Time delays are also possible at short notice!
  5. Hopefully the last webcam update from Meyer Werft. Port side lifeboats being hoisted up ready for Ems conveyance.
  6. Hard to find clear photo's of that period due to various lockdowns etc, but similar video to Arvia's of funnel parts being shipped to Eemshaven for installation.
  7. I do hope that disappointment hasn't ruined your holiday 🤣🤣🤣
  8. Both handy to know, we just booked a cheeky 5 night on Ventura in January overnighting in Hamburg.
  9. We have done the opposite. We do not want to be tied down to pre-booking shows and limiting what else we may be doing. Will wait until each day and decide and try and get in. If we don't we will find something else to do.
  10. We get deep fried Snickers, Mars and Creme Eggs in my local chippy in Southampton.
  11. For our cruise on Iona in 2 weeks, entertainment can now be booked through the my.pocruises.com website.
  12. Not any different from bingo halls on land then? Until books are sold and money counted, then the payout is announced.
  13. I am struggling to understand that statement. You could apply the same analogy to any other activity onboard that other people dislike. Luckily, we are all different and enjoy many different things. My late gran was hooked on bingo, and was very fortunate to win a return TA on the QE2 maiden back in 1969.
  14. Sorry, this weeks photo was a bit 'delayed'. Meyer Werft webcam.
  15. I'll take a picture of a deck 10 balcony next month, back on Iona again.
  16. Not so much room on standard balconies. This was a deck 5 balcony, but deck 10 was the same. Not the best photo, however the chair is almost touching the patio door, just out of shot. If you want sun loungers, I think you need to be looking at a full suite for those. (someone may confirm)
  17. Funnel stacks and pieces for Arvia. River Ems conveyance soon - 5th November????? @molecrochip any clues?? Videos - EMS-Dollart Media
  18. You have to watch the suite prices, as sometimes the price shown is actually for a mini suite and not a full suite. Probe further into a dummy booking to check full suite price.
  19. Not as far as I know, you will be allocated by P&O. As Wowzz mentions a good TA may be your best approach if a particular cabin or type is preferred. I only book direct as I am friends with someone who works at Carnival House, and book when on general sale so I can pick my preference of deck and cabin.
  20. This has become normal at launch, the normal options will return when the cruises go on general sale on 01/02/03 November.
  21. Those cruises have been around for a while, I would expect the prices to be higher. This is launching the September 2024 to April 2025 cruises.
  22. No, mine is November. Will try and find out if I can pax on board.
  23. From other groups I am in, there will be a lot of children onboard, of various ages. A lot are being taken out of school.
  24. Cruisemapper has the capacity as 5206-6264. Will find out how busy in 3 weeks, on our Canary Islands cruise.
