I booked an in an interior 1F GTY on Enchanted for Jan 27 2024. After a couple of price drops the total was $1040 CAD x 2 plus tips. then I bid on an upgrad to the ocean view for $600 total and won my bid so I am in S103 on the sun deck for a toral of $2680. It looks like it will be a great room, 11 days until sailing.

I am not disagreeing with you I just feel that there is another side that is important as well

I bid $360 for my up grade

From what I can see everyone is missing the main point from PCL's point of view, it all comes down to thier bottom line. If enough people just don't use the meddalion for purchases PCL will not make the returns that they expext and want. I agree that it needs to optional to sign up for the shoreside purchases but it is just as important to make sure everyone understands how this will work If this concept catches on and is used by all of the cruise lines it will not take long for the vendors ro raise prices by sat 25% so they cover the extra costs, Just my perspective Jim

I booked a guaranteed interior cabin and bid on an upgrade about 60 days before and I was upgrade 16 days be fore the cruise

Just recieved ab up grade a few days ago, it was 16 days before the cruise

I have been following this blog, my new app seems to work well most of the time but still logs out once in a while when I try to open dining. I have a question about dining booked at the specialty restraunts, if you book and pay for say the Crown Grill and then cancel at a later date do you hat you money returned?

I also do not have any package and there is no icon, no + just a blank spot

Just a thought for anyone that wants to leave a credit card for shore side purchases, you can buy a say $20 master card (gift card) and use that. they look and work just like a credit card and have all the required info like a security code and expiry date. This is what I did and it works for me and if it's a scam it only costs $20.

When I click on the all set the app displays the travel information page and this says that once every thing is completed the boarding pass will become available 11 days prior to your journey. I hopes this helps Jim

Yes that was my plan, but so far the new app is still loging out when ever I try to look at dining options.

Sounds great, I should be able to use it for my cruise, I don't lke the idea of addind a Card for the on shore purchases.

I was wondering if anyone knows how long the old app will still function?

I just tried again on my android phone and every time I try to access dining my app still stops or logs out. I can do every thing else just can not get into the dining portion. Any help would be great.
