  1. For reference, Carnival & HAL have free milkshakes in their regular package (even alcoholic ones)
  2. Just for reference, I got my flight for my Sept 15 cruise a few days ago & it is perfect timing, direct, with free bags & seat selection/ same happened last time I booked NCL air. Both times LA to Europe
  3. I had something like this show up & called my travel agent. He said it had something to do with commission & disregard it (not that I'm telling you to disregard it)
  4. I would assume they will monitor the no testing cruises to see if the numbers go up & if so by how much before they implement it on longer sailings.
  5. Virgin air, free bags and free seat selection
  6. Just got my flight assignment for my September cruise & couldn't be happier. Perfect non stop flight from LHR on Virgin. I chose seats for free & can check a bag if I want
  7. I noticed you're from SOCAL. Did you use NCL air? If so, how was the itinerary? Also, is there a free steam room on the ship? It would be in the gym area. I'm thinking no.
  8. I was told by the air department that going from west coat to east coast/Europe it will most likely a red eye flight
  9. I go to my roll call looking for solos that would like to have dinner together.
  10. i always wear a mask & shield on the plane because I don't think they are as safe as they say (they have really good lobbyists in Washington). I always bring covid tests with me. Last cruise I had chest congestion & it was comforting knowing it wasn't covid.
  11. If you are over 50 must you have the 2nd booster to be considered fully vaccinated?
  12. I had shareholder credit denied for cruise last January. Back then because covid cases were high they let you change to another date if you wanted. I changed to cruise a month later, exact same price, itinerary, etc & sent in request for that one. It was applied.
  13. Doesn't seem to show up anywhere. I used their online chat to confirm that I had flights
  14. I have used Totaltesingsolutions proctored service with my free tests. $20 covered by insurance(or it was in May)
  15. Thanks. How far south of the Windy city? I'm originally from Urbana
  16. What was the occupancy? I have a cruise on hold for Aug 15 - hoping kids will be back in school by then. any thoughts from parents?
  17. Not trying to hijack, but by Platinum do you mean their credit card or a level of miles/flights?
  18. I'm looking at the $129 option if you can see it. I'm thinking it's not a bad idea in case someone gets sick or I get sick before I leave to have this for the small difference in price. I believe the limits are a little higher on the private insurance.. It's for a trip overseas by myself
  19. Hello, I am looking at insurance for my trip - the NCL essentials is on $45 & private is $139. The difference I see is that private would cover illness/injury before the cruise (& death of a loved one?) opposed to the NCL that only covers problems during the trip. Is this correct as you all see it?
  20. 90% you will get red eye, I talked to a =n air supervisor & they said that is the route they give from Cal to the east coast
  21. Maybe he added insurance automatically? My agent always does it & I always buy my own
  22. This is what I always do - I've heard too many horror stories about missing/late luggage. My sister missed a cruise due to late luggage
