M, Glad to see you are back to forums. Never heard from you last time I posted . I have done 5 weeks at a time. really would like to do several months at a time. So what worked best for you in the booking process? MSC direct? BIg discount agency? Did you negoiate pricing? Did you select line because it left/ returned close to your home ; select completely on price? Book with agent, supervisor, group desk? How are payments handled? When you are in mood, love to head DETAILS. To most of us this is a learning experience. Any tips will be appreciated. Thank you.

Agree with Lois. Summit $499 ,Century 5N from $299 New X ships from both FLL and Mia from $599. (all double rates). Attractive singles addons this past year.

I have used Booking Buddy.com, which shows many international discounters inc. Kayak as well as some more obscure ones.Put in dates etc. and compare them all.

Just received flyer from HAL. 7N on Eurodam,Noordam, Ryndam,Westerdam; all from FL starting $399, double rate. As a single still a deal! Looks like most of the season.

The ship is the easiest, safest part of equation. Its the ports, airports, and onshore travel that can be dangerous. Traveling by herself will cost close to double on a cruise due to the dreaded singles supplement.
