  1. We just booked a 15 night cruise--Southampton to Copenhagen, Serenade, July 26, 2024. An interesting itinerary for us--since we've done the Baltic multiple times, but, it's always been the "typical" Baltic. This one is very different. It goes to a few smaller, atypical ports--Skagen, Kiel, Ronne, Klapeida, Riga, Visby...along with the more typical Stockholm, Tallinn, Warnemunde, Helsinki, Brugge...Here's the itinerary: 26 July Southampton, England Departs 5:00 PM 27 July Bruges/Zeebruge (Brussels), Belgium 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM 28 July at sea 29 July Skagen, Denmark 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM 30 July Berlin (Warnemunde), Germany 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM 31 July at sea 1 August Riga, Latvia 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM 2 August Tallinn, Estonia 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM 3 August Helsinki, Finland 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 4 August Stockholm, Sweden Arrives 9:00 AM 5 August Stockholm, Sweden Departs 6:00 PM 6 August Visby, Sweden 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 7 August Klaipeda, Lithuania 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 8 August Ronne, Denmark 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 9 August Kiel, Germany 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 10 August Copenhagen, Denmark Arrives 6:00 AM Now, we've booked this over 14 months in advance, but curiously, it is virtually sold out already. Why? Well, RCCL actually announced this as a "World Cruise"--about nine months long--back in October 2022...and sold only full cruises or much longer segments up until very recently. So, the ship filled up with a LOT of people taking the full nine months or with many taking the originally-announced much longer segments. By the time they opened up these "shorter" segments, suites and balconies (our usual choices) were gone. For this one, even OVs were largely gone. We had a choice of picking one of two Deck 3 OV cabins all the way in the front...or to grab a "guarantee" booking. Figuring, the worst we could do was to get assigned one of those two, we saved $500 and took the guarantee. I guess we can hope someone pulls out and they assign us a much better cabin. If not, we'll be okay with the forward OV...Just get me on the ship. I'm not going to stress out too much about this cruise...but do wonder a few things. Perhaps someone else here has taken a short segment on a World Cruise before. We've never had that experience. First, with a lot of people spending a lot of money and having a lot of time off in which to cruise for so long, will the demographics onboard be EXTREMELY "senior"? Second, with so many people onboard since DECEMBER (We join late July), will virtually EVERYONE onboard be "Diamond" C&A or above? If so, will the Diamond Club be jammed or will they change the "rules"? Third, typically on a cruise, the entertainment repeats shows, guest artists, etc., week after week--so, when we've done "back-to-back" cruises, all the shows seem to get repeated one week to the next. Will they change that pattern with so many people being long-term guests? Any other differences we might experience? Thanks...
  2. And you and your spouse can divorce as well... What should a cruise line do? Maybe run a records search on everyone's marriage status, then audit financial records and only grant Diamond Status to the one who actually earned the money to pay for the cruises? Maybe they should require everyone to show up at check-in with a notarized and certified copy of a marriage license and an affidavit from a County Registrar's office testifying that no divorce or separation papers have been filed? Maybe they should require everyone to show up at the pier with proof that they, individually, actually cruised and paid for each and every cruise that went into their C&A status? BUT, DO THEY CARE? AND SHOULD THEY? It's MARKETING. They give away a few low-cost freebies and people book more cruises. Costs them a few bucks a cruise...and they more than make up for it in cruise fare, gambling, gift shop purchases, shore excursions, spa treatments, etc. Some people book becase they don't get the perks and want them. Others book to try to move up to higher levels of perks. Others book because they get the perks and think they're worth more than they are. IT WORKS. If it works for you as well, why do you care who else gets it?
  3. I cannot believe all of the posters here who don't think my son-in-law should get Diamond status so he can enjoy benefits with his wife (who has "EARNED" Diamond status by virtue of actual cruises sailed--and sailed at high season rates in balconies and suites...even if WE paid the fares for her). Why? Just because they think it somehow hurts THEIR Diamond benefits... Seriously? Crown & Anchor means very little...The cruise line can change or take away benefits ANY TIME...and they have. As Diamond Plus, up until very recently, I received a couple of free beers or sodas in my cabin each cruise, now it's just water. I received a free "gift" like a beach towel or a tote bag, now it's just a cheap bottle of wine. You really think they downgraded the benefits because of a few spouses granted status? Doubt it. Those perks were per cabin, not per member. It is purely budgetary and they have options. Do you know how much those four or five drink vouchers costs them? They may charge $10-14 per drink, but their cost is around fifty cents per drink. They could give EVERYONE five drink vouchers a day and just raise the prices a few dollars a night...and NOBODY would notice. Crown & Anchor is just marketing. Give away a few minor items and blend it into your overall pricing...and people think they are "special"...and they book more cruises. So, if YOU run a cruise line, do you want MORE potentil customers to feel they are special? OR would you rather have FEWER customers thinking they are MORE special? Which sells more cruises? Over at Celebrity, BTW, we've been Elite Plus for a LONG time. The basic perks used to be...A dedicated lounge, Michael's Club, with free unlimited drinks and appetizers each night pre-dinner, a large number of free internet minutes, two free bags of laundry per person...and a lot more. First, they took away Michael's Club (made that the Suite lounge)...and moved the drinking hours to the much larger sky lounge...then they took that away and made it a couple of vouchers. Of course, the excuse was they had to...too many Elite members... Why did they suddenly have so many Elite members? It WASN'T because of extending Elite status to spouses. That is just a drop in the bucket. The reason the Elite numbers exploded? "Reciprocity" extended to RCCL Crown & Anchor members! Yup...Automatic status for customers of a cruise line with 26 ships many that carry up to 6,000 passengers per cruise looking to book on a cruise line with 10-12 ships, none of which carry as much as 3,000 passengers. We are talking about numbers of potential RCCL customers that dwarfed Celebrity's existing Elite numbers. Of course, you might ask, why do that? Easy. It's a LARGE NUMBER OF NEW POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS! You really think the cruise line wants to pass that up just to keep the lounges the way they were and the few current passengers happier? And, of course, Celebrity, not that long ago, started marketing "All-inclusive" fares as the default. So, if you pretty much have to buy unlimited drinks and wifi, what value is left in Elite perks? Well, we get those free laundry bags. And, seriously, Crown & Anchor or Captains Club should NEVER be the reason any of us cruise. We cruise to be treated well, to be fed, to be entertained and to travel to interesting places. MOST of the loyalty perks can be purchased for a very small amount of money. If they give them away, it's because they're making that money back...from you. Buy the cruise you want, pay the price they ask. All Crown & Anchor can really do is to keep your experience SMOOTH...and, for us, that means, when we've booked three balconies for six family members and, considering the LARGE amounts of money we've put into (and continue to put into) Royal Caribbean's coffers, they can make things perfectly smooth for us--including letting us bring all six of us into the Diamond Club and Crown & Anchor events.
  4. Our daughters are NOW 37 and 39...they went on a LOT of cruises with us as kids...At about the ages of 10 and 12, we started getting them their own cabin. We took the older daughter on ONE more cruise than the younger one (because the older one's college was in Winter Break and the younger one's was in finals week. At THAT point, the older daughter was LEGITIMATELY Diamond. The younger one was thar one cruise short. A couple of years after college, the older daugfhter went on Freedom of the Seas with her former college roomie--it was the roomie's first cruise ever. In these days, Royal's rules were different. Because our daughter was Diamond and sharing a cabin with the roomie, the roomie got Diamond status as well. Free Drinks in the Diamond Club for a couple of girls in their early 20s. Boy was the roomie impressed! A couple of years after that, we took both daughters on a cruise on Mariner of the Seas to Central America. RCCL's rules had changed. They told us that, though my wife and I and our older daughter were all Diamond, our younger daughter was still one cruise short. I couldn't believe what I had been told. I called RCCL back and got a different agent. Same question, same initial answer. I asked: "So...When we all go out for pre-dinner drinks in the Diamond Club, should we just make our other daughter wait in the hall outside?" The agent laughed. She then "promoted" our younger daughter to Diamond. This coming August, we're taking the daughters to Alaska on Quantum. Booked three 1D balconies. Younger daughter is married. Older daughter bringing her boyfriend. Son-i-law has been granted Diamond status. Or...when we attend events, would some of you prefer we leave him out in the hall? Other daughter's boyfriend is a Crown & Anchor member having taken multiple cruises with his parents when he was a child--but still isn't Diamond quite yet. We understand that they don't have to be legally married--"significant others" can also get matching status if they are living at the same address (No reason to need to make things "official" just for a cruise). Yes, I understand that acquiring Diamond status for the son-in-law and significant other adds to the numbers...but, seriously, it's not that big of a deal. Not nearly as much of a numbers inflation as when they added the "reciprocity" thing foir RCCL/Celebrity. Do you realize what THAT did to those "numbers"? And, seriously, Royal Caribbean has never lost any money with us. We are WELL into both Diamond Plus on RCCL and Elite Plus on Celebrity. We've done countless long cruises and we've cruised several times in suites. The 8 extra drinks per day for the two son-in-law/S.O. cost RCCL PENNIES a day. Making OUR vacation more seamless and easy for us cruising as a FAMILY...that's priceless!
  5. After doing whale watching each time in ISP on three prior cruises, this time, we just opted to go with wildbearsafari!! Book Your Bear Tour - Wild Bear Safari - Honnah Alaska Sort of disappointed to have to cancel our anticipated Skagway tour...and though I always recommend doing a small boat whale watch in ISP, we just needed to try something different. Now, the only port where we don't have a tour planned is Sitka (I don't consider Victoria a real port stop here. We've been recently, as a REAL full day port stop on a coastal cruise on Navigator, but this one is really only a quick stop to get around US law).
  6. The Aerobus is set up for people traveling to and from the airport--WITH LUGGAGE. There is a luggage area on the bus.
  7. They just put up two excursions today...neither really exciting. One is a 2.5 hour Jeep tour, the other an all-day ticket for the sky-cars... We've been to ISP three times and each time did a whale watching trip--once through the cruise line, the other two were private local companies---there are several--with everything from six-passenger boats up to larger ships. The small boats are outstanding but can be a bit pricey. We're still trying to figure out what to do. We are disappointed in having to cancel what would have been a great private tour in Skagway. In Victoria, we are staying on the ship as time is way too short and poorly timed. The stop is really just to satisfy US law regarding stopping in one foreign port.
  8. Just got back late Monday night...Again stayed at H10 Catalunya Plaza both pre- and post-cruise. Still absolutely love it. We signed up for the H10 loyalty club (no cost, easy), so they throw in free daily breakfast--one of the best hotel breakfasts anywhere--buffet with meats, cheeses, pastries, croissants, donuts, fruit, juices, etc. plus included menu with omelets, cereals, pancakes, waffles, etc. made to order all in very nice and spacious room...and they throw in a free "welcome cocktail" of your choice at the hotel bar...and, they deliver to the room a half-liter bottle of wine, a box of chocolate truffles, some other chocolate crunchy treats...and, at the lobby, they have free welcome champagne, nuts and M&M type candies and some jelly candies...and, on the "P" level, they have a free coffee/capuccino/espresso machine and, for several hours each day, pastries, sandwiches, etc.. You really can't ask for much more out of a hotel. And, again, the location is the best in Barcelona--right on the Placa!!!
  9. Just got home Monday night...We LOVED the Hotel da Baixa...Our room was very nice and fairly spacious for an older European hotel. Free minibar. Good breakfast (and we got there early the first day after disembarking Infinity and they told us to go ahead and be seated for breakfast/coffee while we waited for room availability--which we had fairly early). Front desk personnel were WONDERFUL. There was an issue with taxis/Uber getting to the hotel as the street in front was closed for repairs and Uber drivers didn't understand that the street in rear was open in the morning until all the restaurant tables went out. Front desk guy texted in Portugese with Uber driver, then brought our luggage a block and a half to the new meeting point for us and waited with us for Uber. Hotel location was incredibly convenient. Restaurants with outdoor seating ALL over surrounding streets. Easy walk to our tour pick-up spot and public squares with lots of available other tours. We did our Fatima/Nazarre/Obidos tour with "Lisbon Riders" one day for full day. Our guide, Tania, was my wife's favorite tour guide of the many we had on this month-long trip--Delightful, friendly, informative. 8 people on tour in van...in English. I could have done with less time in Fatima (I guess you have to be a believing Catholic to love it--I'm not. The main church is nice, the others are modern monstrosities. Nazarre, however, was really cool. (Look it up--largest waves in world). Great grilled fish (entire fish--too much to eat--we should have shared one...and would still have leftovers) lunch on cliff-top with forever views. Walk down to old fort. Obidos was incredible--Medeival walled city...We really wish we had more time there. Next day, we just walked to the largest tour start point area and just booked a city tour on the spot. Lots of choices from big buses to mini-buses to "Tuk-Tuks"--small open-air tour vehicles. City is on lots of high hills, so a tour is nice to get you around to various areas.
  10. First, I truly feel for those canceled. It really sucks. And, it should never happen. AND the cruise line should bend over backwards to accommodate those affected. But, of course, they really aren’t set up well to deal with it. So, I get it. It still sucks. That said, I appear to be among those spared. And I do keep asking myself why and believe I understand it all. Since everyone has or knows only pieces of the puzzle and since speculation can be wild, no one can really put together the entire picture. So, I will throw in my speculation based on my case. I originally booked in 2019. Two cruises, back-to-back. I lifted and shifted every time—through my now upcoming March/April 2004 sailings. I have two other family couples cruising with me on the first of the two. I am Elite Plus Captains Club.I appear to have survived the purge. First, I reject the conspiracy theory idea that Celebrity is weeding out the cheaper bookings. I am pretty certain that MY bookings, based on when they were made, early pricing at 5he time an$ how they progressed through lifting and shifting, are among the lowest prices o& anyone booked. If the conspiracy theory were correct, I would, no doubt, have been 5he first to be canceled. I wasn’t. From what I gather, there were many DOUBLE BOOKINGS—in other words, same cabin. I think what they did-easily the simplest explanation therefore usually the best— was to merely cancel the SECOND booking. And that is where it gets tricky. If you take it cabin by double booked cabin, the first booking IN THAT CABIN is not necessarily the one who booked earliest overall. Since they changed ships twice, our cabin, for example, has changed every time. So, the first booked is whoever booked into that precise cabin on Millennium, the second time around, first. So, it’s Not when you originally booked, it’s when you booked next season’s Millennium…often the date of your lift-and-shift election. So, anyone who quickly grabbed the new sailing is more likely to be safe. Those who paused a second, for any reason, are more likely to have found a cabin that might have been booked just ahead of them. Still sucks, but may explain why some who have had their bookings carrying over for multiple lift-and=shifts still got scr*wed. Also, for us, trying to reconstruct our B2Bs in the same cabin, somewhere along the line, we negotiated an upgrade to Concierge…not because we knew the overbooking was coming…but just to get the same cabin for both as cabins were scarce. Turns out we got lucky as Concierge cabins didn’t seem to have the overbooking issue.
  11. Wouldn't it be nice if Celebrity would just send the rest of us emails stating "Congratulations. You have survived the purge. Your booking is safe and confirmed. You WILL be traveling with us to Asia in the cabin and on the dates you originally booked."???
  12. Just to follow up...We are now on Infinity but here's how we ended up spending our stay in Rio: We arrived at 8:00 am on the 10th and, surprisingly, the Hilton had a room for us immediately upon arrivl at the hotel. We were very tired and just lounged around for the day...ate pizza and beer for lunch at Taberna Atlantica-- along the beach right at the side of the Hilton (there are five restaurants right there, all with outdoor tables). Large sausage pizza and two beers, shockingly $18 and change in US dollars! Went to nearby market to pick up snacks. Had dinner at the Hilton rooftop restaurant--great view. Second day--full day Rio VIP tour with City Rio Tourism--included Sugarloaf by aerial gondola, Christ the Redeemer by train, Celeron Stairs, Cathedral, lunch at a Brazilian steakhouse with lots of sushi and unlimited steak. 19 tourists in a minivan. Pretty good overview. Day three: We booked a private tour for four of us through the tour company with a desk at the Hilton. We were going to use them for a group tour but that was sold out...so they set us up with a private tour for four for LESS money (680 Real total for four people). Was supposed to be four hours but they went for six hours with no additional charge. Went to Santa Theresa as well as another visit to Celeron Stairs but this time walked down the entire length...also another visit to the Cathedral--but guide, Joao, was even better, did a lunch/dessert at an old "confectionary" that was wonderful. Day 4: Check out, taxi to the ship...
  13. Yeah. I am on Infinity right now--doing a Tranatlantic, Rio to Lisbon. When I saw the recent reports, I went down to the Future Cruises desk and asked. They hadn't heard anything...but the department head called corporate in Miami. (Difficult to call my own contacts in Miami while I'm on the cruise). The explanation was that, NO, the cruises are NOT canceled. They merely had a computer error and double booked a number of cabins...and, the way these cruises had filled up, they don't believe they will have the typical percentage of late cancelations. So, rather than string people along further and in order to clean up the bookings, they decided to go ahead and cancel one of each of the double bookings, giving people some time to book something else. They checked specifically into my bookings and assured me that my cabin on my B2B sailings were not among those double-booked. Obviously, knowing they've screwed up once means I cannot be certain they won't screw up again--so I won't be entirely comfortable until I'm on the ship. They also said that if you haven't been notified by now, you are likely safe. The cruises WILL happen.
  14. Any hotel reservation prices, anywhere, depend on several things, including: 1) The dates, including day of the week, 2) the room type, 3) whether it is cancelable or pre-paid and 4) WHEN you made the reservation (often, prices are MUCH lower when booked far in advance). We will be in Barcelona pre- and post cruise, April 29 and again on May 7, staying at the H10 Catalunya Plaza--which I would prefer over the Continental Palacete...and, of course, "nicer" is a matter of personal preference. We all have different standards, expectations and requirements. We are paying what I consider a very reasonable average of 182 Euros (including all fees and taxes and including an outstanding breakfast). But, on the whole, there are several hotels one should consider in Barcelona...and price alone should never be the determining factor. Consider, importantly, location, hotel amenities, room size, security, etc. Read the reviews.
  15. The Proper is, basically, a brand new hotel--it opened just prior to the arrival of Covid19...and, by all accounts, is a luxury 5-star hotel. I don't know it...Though I've lived in the area most of my life, I've actually stayed in a couple of the nicer hotels in Santa Monica--Loews and Marriott LeMerigot--due to attendance at events...and love those hotels. The Proper, to me, is a bit of a puzzlement. Why would anyone build a 5-star hotel in Santa Monica in THAT location? It's on 7th Street between Wilshire and Arizona. When I was in high school, I had a part time and summer job at the surplus store at 7th and Santa Monica Blvd. I NEVER would have imagined anyone choosing down the block from that being a high-end tourist destination. To be real, it's not a LONG walk to anything. Five blocks to the Third Street Promenade, seven blocks to Palisades Park, about 10-12 blocks from the Santa Monica Pier. But it's also just a dull, heavily trafficked commercial street several blocks from the more interesting areas. MOST of the other Santa Monica hotels are either on the beach, south of the pier, along Ocean Avenue across from Palisades Park with ocean views or right ff the Third Street Promenade. Stay in those hotels and you can either roll right out of the hotel and stroll down the Promenade or wander right out of your hotel onto the beach or onto the pier or along the cliffs of the park.. The general exceptions to the prime area are the two newer chain hotels at 5th and Colorado, built to be near the Metro Station, but still not far from the pier and promenade. Neither the Hilton nor the LeMeridian Delfina have ever been considered great locations being off the beach and across the 10 Freeway and away from the attractions. Having a rental car gives you some benefits--because walking isn't an issue...but parking can be. I'm a local and know where to park. Certain streets near the Promenade have free street spaces (as opposed to meters)--if you are patient and can find an open spot. The city operates a few large parking structures within a block to either side of the Promenade--with 90 minutes of free parking and $2.50 an hour past that...But, if you're at the Proper, it's not worth the hassle vis-a-vis the walk. Parking at the beach or down in Venice to enjoy the Boardwalk, you'll likely just have to deal with high parking fees. I would probably consider the Proper only if 1) I wanted to eperience a the brand-new luxury hotel and 2) I was getting a great deal--or free with points. If you stayed in Marina Del Rey, Venice Beach may be very walkable (depending on which hotel you were at)...There are lots of restaurants both in the Marina AND along Venice Beach (Personally, I recommend C& O Trattoria on Washington Blvd. at the beach...Visiting Santa Monica, you just deal with that parking situation. Touring elsewhere in the LA area using your hotel as a base, Marina Del Rey is not much difference in convenience than Santa Monica except for often adding ust a few minutes to your drive. Good luck.
  16. We've caught taxis right in front of the hotel. The Aerobus to the airport picks up and drops off across the Placa--at the Northeast corner, near the northern end of El Corte Ingles...The H10 is at the Northwest corner...it's a fairly short walk.
  17. NOPE. Celebrity already made that decision regarding the Millennium back in December. In previous years, the April 9 cruise WAS the last Japan cruise of the season (I know, I've been booked on it four years running). They always followed it with a Transpacific--taking the ship back to Vancouver for the Alaska season. BUT, when they announced the Spring 2024 schedule, they stopped the schedule at the end of this cruise. It stayed that way for several months. Finally, in December, they announced the cruises from April 21 on. No Transpacific this time. They scheduled the next several months' cruises with Millie continuing in Asia. END OF STORY. DECISION MADE. NOT BEING REDEPLOYED.
  18. No, not a travel agent...but I am a long-time cruiser who knows a lot of cruise line executives and former cruise line execs and who also spent a portion of my career in the hospitality industry. But, interestingly enough, reading what you just posted, I just tried running through a few travel agency websites...and actually came across one tonight that was offering bookings on this very sailing! It came with this note: "Limited Inventory. This is an exclusive, negotiated price for a limited number of cabins in this room category. Act quickly. This rate is time sensitive and can sell out at any time." And, following through, I input what was asked to go through a dummy booking and it offered me three different balcony cabins--one on Deck 7 and two on Deck 8. Actual cabin numbers, apparently currently available through their specific agency. Often, cruise lines will block off cabins for group bookings and, until those are required to be released by the agency, they do not show up on the cruise line website...and the cruise line may show the cruise as sold out. Either this agency will sell those cabins...or...at some set date, they will turn them back to Celebrity...and Celebrity will either assign them to current guarantee booking holders or they will post the cruise back on the market. BUT--a clear sign that this cruise is still "on".
  19. And let's address this statement directly. The "info" in this thread is NOT "still relevant". Most of what is in this thread is SPECULATION, RUMOR, CONJECTURE...Most of tis speculation came at a time BEFORE Celebrity came out with its plans for the 2024-5 season...before it announced the Millenium would REMAIN in Asia...before it posted cruises continuing on AFTER the April 9, 2024 cruise. There are posts about what some crew member on a ship told someone about the Millenium going to Cape Liberty (FALSE)...tgere are posts claiming 2024 Japan was canceled due to Covid (FALSE). Lots of MISINFORATION. Rather than bringing this back to the top of the board, it might better for CruiseCritic to lock it or delete it.
  20. They are NOT REARRANGING IT, CANCELING IT, DOING ANY "INVENTORY MAINTENANCE".or anything else. They have merely sold as many cabins as they have and as many "guarantee" bookings as they are willing to gamble on having enough existing bookings cancel to open up. DONE. There is NO "transparency" issue because there is nothing going on here. If you are booked on this cruise, just sit back relax and wait. If you are NOT boooked on this cruise but want to be on it, keep checking ...and pray...but, maybe, pick another date when they actually have a vilable bookings and book one of those. Don't be paranoid!!!
  21. Try these guys: https://sunseekertours.com/ Only major LA area tour company that picks up at the harbor. I'm not sure if they have a tour that gets you to LAX for a 4:45 flight since their standard tour is 8 hours and you probably need to be at LA by at least 2:45...but they also will put together a private tour to your specifications. Maybe others on your roll call are looking fr the same?
  22. I just saw a report on the local news that the Queen Mary is not only going to start giving tours again, but, also going to reopen the hotel. Now, I stayed on the Queen Mary once...for three nights way back in 1978...and it's never been one of those places I have listed on my recommended Long Beach hotels. That said, my opinion is that the hotel has never been well-operated by generally accepted hotel management standards. If you are accustomed to staying at Hiltons, Marriotts, Hyatts, etc., the Queen Mary will fall woefully short of that to which you are accustomed. The rooms even fall way short of the standards of modern cruise ship cabins...they are small, dank, dark, no balconies, few modern features. OTOH, If you are cruising on Carnival, the Queen Mary is, literally, just a few steps from the Carnival Terminal...but, more importantly, if you just want the historical perspective...to feel what it was like to sail on a passenger ship from almost a century ago, this MAY be an experience you want. Of course, it may help you appreciate the modern ship you subsequently sail on. Again definitely NOT for everyone...but an experience SOME may want...and, apparently, it's rising from the dead. Hotel rooms on the Titanic are next.
  23. Actually, that's just one of the terminals...If you're cruising from the other berth, it's also on the right side of that terminal building...it's also hard to miss. The two berths, BTW, are perpendicular to each other.
