Thank Gawd me and the missus have never been that arsed about sunbathing, nor finding a 'prime' spot. We'll just find what we can if and when we need it. :)

I'm like the OP (have no credit card), and have previously used a debit card with no issue, although it is fair to suggest you consider having a buffer on that or elsewhere.
However, these days I have a pre-paid Revolut card, and I tend to add to that in batches over the weeks ahead of the cruise.

Pleasant surprise, thanks.

I also assume there is a charge to play them, does anyone know?

Cheers, although having second thoughts now ... 'correcting' might make my game worse! :D

I'm surprised Wetherspoons are banning dogs from outside areas as well. Good job me and my Springer are way above their establishments then :D

So, having spent a lot of my adult life in dingy pubs as part of pool teams (!), I see the Independence appears to have some tables in the new Playmakers bar.
Are these things actually playable, genuinely? :pIf so, I might have to bring the cue for a bit of hustling lol (cough)

The choice for us is generally as simple as whether we are going transatlantic or not. If there are more sea days than port days, we'll comfortably be better off with a package to cover soda, coffee and alcohol. If it's a trip round the Med with plenty of stops, we'll leave it and no doubt have a couple of bevvies apiece in port.

We are 48 days from sailing, and we have no option to print yet.
I also recommend the tag holders that schmeed linked to - very handy.

I've gone to a few formal nights in just shirts or jumpers (well, with pants and shoes of course!).
As long as you're not going in like a scrubber, and look smart, you should be fine. That's my take on it anyway. 😋

I love dogs - and quite often they are better company (and more hygenic) than some people lol - so while I think it would be a trifle weird/rude to see one in the MDR for example, I wouldn't let it upset me in the slightest.
