The Crown had speed issues when we were on her in 2017.

Same thing for us, and it is costing us both our FCC that we had leaving us without any, and 150 less OBC (50 each for military and 50 for the shares). You get $100 for 7 days and $250 for 14
We had our TA try to get it as a 14 day without success.
-
One other downside is that some on board credits more than double between a 7 and 14 day cruise.
The military, And shares Are $100 for a week, and $250 for 2 weeks.
There are some trips that cabins are blocked for a 2 week cruise, but the same cabin can be booked for each leg of a b2b. We were forced to book at B2B for Alaska even though the 2 week version was avail as we wanted a particular deck.

My vote is for SPB tours as well.

One place I have gone for “dress clothes” is a resale shop, or something like the Salvation Army. That is where we got my son’s tux. So if it is not worn much you are not out a lot of money.
Other things he may like is colourful shirts, but wash them beforehand so they soften up.
I thank you for being concerned and trying to get him to follow the dress code for dinner. I really appreciate it.

First time cruiser, not sure if this is the right place to ask. What is the most casual dress my 12 year old can wear to dinners? He likes to dress very casually and getting him to dress up for dinner is going to be difficult.
Everyone is supposed to dress for dinner, it can be pants and a polo shirt.
My son does not like to dress up, but I got him a tux for some events, and he loved how he looked in photos, especially when Girls were attracted to that look.in reality they will not say anything, even if it drives the rest of the diners crazy.
One trip we were on the family were in tshirts, and flip flops every dinner, on the formal night they “dressed up” they put on running shoes. It really got my Mom upset.

Last year we got the water instead, as there were no tumblers,
I bring my thermal mug with me So it works for hot or cold drinks.

Like a previous posted said, let your TA know you are grateful for their gift, but let them know that you don’t drink or gamble. They would prefer to give you something you will use and enjoy.

In my past experience Chai Tea was a speciality

We did Prime C on the White Night, as it was our actual 25th Wedding Anniversary. After about 20 min we were the only ones there and I loved it. I hate noisy restaurants, and the “private” dining room atmosphere it created was great for this day. Not to mention you have a personal server.

This comes up ofter for Canadians going to the US, they may have a Canadian Passport, but if they were born in one of the “restricted” countries they may still require a VISA to enter the US.
When we drive over most of the US agents ask what country you were born in and not what your citizenship is.

Glad to hear that it is priced in the package now. When they first launched it, we were on the Caribbean for the launch, they were $15 each. But we were at the right place at the right time and they made a few to demo which we were given.

I think Toddler is correct. If someone tells you you have to wait to get your shot at the same time as an espresso drink, just "suggest" that they punch it in at once and let the computer reject (or except) it, and it will be excepted.
It was in the Main Dining room, Crown Princess,
So we took to either having a regular coffee and the liquor or getting The Nutty Irishman.
But even at the International cafe the only other drink you could get while getting any drink (with or without alcohol) was water.

In the past I was not able to get a speciality coffee and a liquor at the same time. I guess if you put it in the drink it is ok, but if you want to slip it separately it is not allowed unless you wait the required amount of time...

In the press conference early Tuesday am (NZ time) the Prime Minister did say they were getting lots of support from the Cruise Line. So before we judge, maybe in the background they were working with those effected. It is just us at home wondering why things were not posted publicly.

Personally I do not think a day is long enough there, you will have to pick and choose what you want to see. You need to take the bus that goes around to the various locations, we spent over 5 hrs at the Saturn 5 rocket building. Also I read that it goes to the vehicle assembly building again. (Was in there about 35-40 yrs ago.)
The outside is mainly going between buildings, and the “ Rocket Garden”. Places where there were outside viewing platforms had a ceiling overtop.

Love the idea of having it shipped to the Hotel, as they cannot ship outside of the US.
I wonder if it would be worth it to have them shipped to a UPS store just over the Border for our trip in May, leaving from Vancouver. It would take around an hour each way to drive there.

If it did happen the Photographer could get fired for something like that.

One thing to watch, Princess blocks some rooms, and in my case an entire deck from Their listed 14 day cruises, so you have to book it as a B2B, it cost more and we are loosing out on OBC credits, some are 250 for 14 days, but only 100 for 7.
We also had to use both FCC s for the trip, I am delaying booking another trip until the cruise, so I can buy more.
If you want a particular deck, location, etc you may be forced to do it that way. -

Bonine is Meclizine. This is taken directly from the Bonine FAQ page:
What makes Bonine® different?
A: The active ingredient in Bonine® is Meclizine, which helps treat nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness, without drowsiness.
I don't leave home without it - and make sure to purchase extra at our pre-cruise port to take home with me, as we can't get it in Canada any longer.
Smooth Sailing! 🙂🙂🙂
Thanks for the comment, Our next cruise leaves from Vancouver, I will get some next time I am in thenUS.

If you are picking it up, we avoid the “souvenir” stores and get that sort of thing at the Grocery store. A quarter the price, also, maybe the label is not as fancy,

Take into account what type of flight you are going on. International will need to be there much earlier than Domestic

We did get an email before it was approved to confirm it was for a CPAP, but as you said it was already approved. If they question once you are using it, just state it is for a medical reason.
The nice thing about pre-requesting it, as that the steward already knows you need it and you don’t have to ask.
