  1. Did you have an infinite veranda? I was wondering what you thought about it. That's what I booked, but after reading more about it I'm a little concerned I won't like it as much as a regular balcony.
  2. We board on January 7. Is the breakfast for Elite members in the Grand Bistro? Can you get coffee drinks to take out?
  3. It is my understanding that Apex has gone to "anytime dining" for everyone with no specific time. If so, is it better to reserve a table at one of the main restaurants each night or just show up to whichever one you choose? I know the first night is assigned. Also, is one of the main restaurants better than the others or are all about the same?

  5. Hmmm...I am logged in. I'll look at plan my cruise. Thanks
  6. Is anyone having a problem getting on to Celebrity's Manage Your Cruise? I've tried all day to look at excursions and dining options for our trip, but can't get the pages to load.
  7. I believe that Apex is still using Terminal 25. I don't remember how close parking was because we left car at hotel. All cocktails are included, but if it's over a certain price (sorry I can't remember) you just pay the difference. You can get your free cocktails, water, coffee anywhere on the ship including the dining rooms. Only certain specialty coffees are included...mocha, latte, etc. If not sure, you can ask when you order. Snacks are available anytime at buffet, the spa cafe, the coffee cafe (sorry, forgot the name), the grill by the pool, maybe Eden during the day. Hope this helps! Also, you do not get free drinks using room service.
  8. To clarify...Apex is now anytime dining? No early or late seating?
  9. We've been Elite for awhile and have cruised both with and without all inclusive. Personally, I don't always use all of the drinks, but I like that tips are covered as well as some specialty coffee, water, etc., in addition to the wi-fi. It's also nice to be able to have a cocktail in the afternoon at the pool or with your dinner without working around the times of the lounge.
  10. Are you able to go in Tuscan to get a take out coffee or do you have to stay there to drink it? I always enjoyed the Diamond Lounge on RCI to just get a coffee to take back to my cabin.
  11. Does anyone know if they play pickleball on Apex? If so, do you know if you can just show up or do you have to make a reservation to play?
  12. Wow! So sorry to hear you had to deal with all of this b.s. in addition to being sick. This is pretty much my worse nightmare. My grandson hurt his foot in a freak accident in Mexico that required an ambulance, surgery, etc. It was also a huge nightmare. Hope you're doing well now.
  13. I agree with Cruisinfly. Celebrity is definitely more geared to a more mature crowd. Royal has many more daytime activities....line dancing at the pool, sexy man competition, belly flop competition, etc. There is way more activities for children and teens on Royal such as water slides, carousel, zip line. In my opinion, it is an entirely different vibe; much more activity and party type atmosphere. Celebrity is geared more toward adults. I have had great service on both lines. However, after my last cruise on Royal, I feel that Celebrity has the edge on food. You will enjoy Allure; especially since it's your first time on that type of ship. It is huge and there is always something to do. Yes, it is a different experience, but you will not be disappointed.
  14. Just back from sailing on Harmony. When I went to the dining room the first night, I stood at the entrance waiting to be seated. No one ever did greet me or escort me to my table. This was throughout the entire cruise. The first night people had to walk around searching for their table. I have been on 23 cruises and this is the first time ever that I was not greeted and shown to my table. I had traditional seating. Is this the new trend? Also, when did they do away with the dessert menu? You are asked to order dessert at the same time you order your main course and the starter and the appetizers are delivered at the same time instead of separate courses. I am beginning to miss the decorum of cruising in the past.
  15. I just got back from sailing on Harmony. After many years of My Time Dining, I switched to Traditional Early Seating. I never had to wait in line. However, on another note, no one met us at the door to greet us or escort us to our table. The first night people were wandering around aimlessly searching for their table number. Our service was excellent, but we did feel somewhat rushed. As soon as we sat down and were handed the menu, our waitress was standing there waiting to take down our orders; including dessert. No separate menu for dessert. Many things have changed for sure.
  16. Just curious....what capacity is Harmony sailing?
