  1. We sail on Harmony on the 11th. Cabin 8266. I haven't heard anything yet regarding Royal Up bid. I bid on a Jr. Suite, but feeling doubtful that it's accepted. Looking forward to reading your review.
  2. I've heard of some giving it to the porter. I'm sailing out of Port Canaveral and am going to ask when I check my luggage. Hoping that they'll take it, but if not I'll carry it on.
  3. There are hot chocolate packets in windjammer and several other places that you can take back to your room.
  4. On Embarkation Day, does water/soda have to be in your carry on bag or can you give it to a porter to deliver to your cabin?
  5. Enjoyed reading your review. We will be on Harmony in 11 days. I am disappointed that there is no pool in the solarium. Is the Sport Pool an adults only pool? I'm hoping that there will be one pool that adults only is enforced.
  6. I agree with Snit13, Celebrity is a different experience overall. The passengers are a little older and the atmosphere is more refined, for lack of a better word.
  7. White night: yes you wear only white. I believe there is a 50's night. The theme nights are on casual nights since some wear the theme clothing to the dining room.
  8. Tuxes are almost obsolete. Some men do wear jackets and a tie. Many men wear nice pants and a dress shirt and nice shoes. You would be fine not packing a suit or jacket. My husband wears nice pants with a dress shirt and a tie. On casual nights, he wears khakis and a polo or sport shirt. I think they did away with "smart casual", but have theme nights on occasion if you want to participate (Caribbean). Children are supposed to follow the dress code. I would advise against shorts in the dining room for evening, though others may disagree. Hope this helps.
  9. I wish you were right, but no there is no solarium pool on Harmony. Oasis and Allure do have pools in the solarium.
  10. Since there is no pool in the solarium on Harmony, which pool is the best for adults with no children?
  11. We sail on August 11. Can't wait to read the rest of your review!
  12. Yes, when you slide the dial and click on your bid...it says "weak", etc.
  13. As Diamond Members we get three free drinks per card. On our last cruise on Brilliance, we went to a bar and asked for two sodas unopened (to take back to our room for later). We were told that they could only give them to us opened. Has anyone else had this problem? Why would it make any difference as long as it was within the designated "3 drink time"?
  14. Are you allowed to use the floating mats in Oasis Lagoon? Also, are there umbrellas with the chairs?
