  1. If you are asking if there is a place you can store your bags until your room is readyโ€ฆ on our last MSC cruise they allowed and even encouraged us to drop our bags off in our room. We just couldnโ€™t stay in the room, just a drop and go.
  2. I think it depends on where you snorkel. I can tell you we brought our own snorkels and went right by the lighthouse. It was amazing! Literally thousands of fish, it was so cool ๐Ÿ™‚ You have to swim out a bit and get out to where it gets a little rocky, but there is for sure lots of interesting things to see.
  3. This has been my experience as well. They are pretty relaxed on MSC with the bar service. Quite a bit different than say Carnival where they are very strict on the 5 minute rule and no doubles and all that.
  4. I have really become a fan of MSC. I will say coming from other cruise lines the service takes a little getting used to, you just have to be bold and ask for what you want. The servers do not "check" on you. However, other than that I think they are a great line! The ships are clean, the shows are awesome, the food is good, and the prices are amazing!
  5. The casino is open and your drink package totally works on Ocean Cay. Ocean Cay is amazing, I think you will have a great time! The overnights are really fun because they do nighttime activities on the overnights.
  6. We did a MSC cruise out of Port Canaveral. We had a pretty big group of people and we did not all have the same boarding times, but the time on the boarding pass did not seem to matter, we just walked up and got in line for that first initial check-in. You go through an initial check-in where they make sure you have your boarding pass and documents, it's real quick. Then you go through security. Then you get in a longer line where you check in at a desk and get your room keys and stuff. At that point, they give you a card with a number, like group 12 for example. Then they just keep announcing the next boarding group and you get in line to walk on the ship when they call your boarding group. The boarding groups are not individual parties, they are large boarding groups.
  7. I think I know the answer to this because I can't find any reference to it on their website... but does anyone know if MSC offers any room decoration services? For example, on Carnival, you can purchase things like a Birthday package and then the room will be decorated for a Birthday before you even board the ship. Thanks for any information!
  8. I'm used to Carnival where you have to wait 5 minutes between drinks, even if you want a double, you have to just wait 5 minutes to get that second shot. So on MSC, you can order two drinks at once?? That's fun!! Hehe Can you also do the thing where you order a drink and bottle of water at the same time?
  9. Hi Tom-n-Cheryl! If you are able to post the daily programs and dinner menus that would be amazing! You are on the same itinerary I will be sailing, so I'm super interested in any info you have. I'll certainly be following this thread!
  10. We are using GoPort, this will be my first time using it, but it sounds like they just continually run buses and you just get on the next available bus. I liked that I didn't have to worry about scheduling an exact time for the shuttle.
  11. Hi all! I saw someone posted a Seaside schedule for a longer cruise out of Port Canaveral, but if anyone is doing the 3 night itinerary where it goes to an overnight at Ocean Cay and can post a pic of the daily schedules and MDR menus that would be awesome!! Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚
  12. I couldn't find anything there, although I also have a message that I can't fully check in until 20 days before my cruise, so maybe it shows up after that? I'm fine with just asking our room steward too, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything is all.
  13. I was curious about this too, this is my first time on MSC, but just from looking around on the internet, it looks like they carry red bull and sugarfree red bull.
  14. Ok sounds good! I just wanted to make sure it could be set to our preference ๐Ÿ™‚ Just trying to be educated on all the little ins and outs of MSC cruises. We just booked through the website on our own, so thank you for the info!
  15. Hi all! I am new to MSC, mostly cruise on Carnival. With Carnival there is a section in your cruise details where you select if you want a King bed or Twin bed. I can't seem to find any information on how you make this selection with MSC. Does anyone have any insight on how that works with MSC? Thank you so much for any information!
  16. Mystery solved, thank you Itried4498! From the prices I see on that website, I think you may be right about that Schoifmom.
  17. In my experience you can always do an alcohol drink and a water at the same time. However for two waters you would have to wait the 5 minutes. I would just get in the habit of grabbing a water, or Gatorade, from the coffee or juice place when I walked by and keeping them in my fridge. Then I would always have a couple extra ready to grab.
  18. Iโ€™ll be cruising on the Miracle soon and noticed it returns from a 4 day cruise on Jan 26th, but then doesnโ€™t leave for its next cruise until January 31st. I was just curious, does anyone know what the ship does for those 6 days?
  19. You can add both cabins to one app, you just have to add a second trip in Verifly to add the second cabin.
  20. This is a great solution ๐Ÿ™‚
