About to cancel my February 9th
Cruise aboard Silver Moon and receive 110% fcc pretty straight forward, but to redeem my fcc do I have to go with my original independent travel agent or can I book with any agent?

I am on the the 3rd and 4th leg on this grand voyage,and only doing because of Brazil and the Amazon and now gone! I hope Silversea will let me cancel without penalty.

I have sailed with Silversea 2 times and have a 37 day booked on Silver Moon.
I sure you realize it's the same company ,I already have shown loyalty.

Not sure,maybe free laundry, at least a reduced rate or perhaps a 5% additional savings on any future voyage. Something.
I have over 35 sailings with RCCL and Celebrity.
I just think that since I am true to the brand they should recognized me for it.

Being a Diamond plus member on RCCL and now a Silversea only cruiser it would be nice
to get a little benefit for all my loyalty to RCCL.

Brazil has 75% with at least one dose of the vaccine and US has 67%.
The difference is that the people of Brazil want the vaccine.
May be more risk staying home LOL.

Not so fast unfortunately,seems like Brazil are restricted exclusively to its waters, banning trips to and from Uruguay and Argentina.
Costa Cruises cancels its 2021/22 season in Uruguay and Argentina
Saturday, October 30th 2021 - 08:30 UTCFull article 2 commentsAs happened with MSC Cruises, Costa Cruises announced on Friday the cancellation of its 2021/2022 cruise season in Uruguay and Argentina. Last-minute differences with Brazilian officials forced the Italian cruise company which belongs to the Carnival Group, to redraft the itinerary of Costa Fascinosa that was expected in Uruguay and Argentina.
In the release Costa Cruises indicates it worked with Brazilian officials to concrete the cruise season, but last minute delays in the approval for the arrival of international cruises to Brazil, “have forced Costa Cruises to review the itinerary of Costa Fascinosa”
The inconvenient for the coming cruise season is that Brazil only authorizes the operation of cruise vessels in Brazilian jurisdictional waters. Brazilian authorities have insisted that cruise operations in Brazil are restricted exclusively to its waters, banning trips to and from Uruguay and Argentina.
Costa Cruises thus joins other companies that have suspended their summer operations. In early October MSC informed the cancellation of itineraries for MSC Sinfonia, MSC Orchestra, MSC Preziosa and MSC Splendida, which were scheduled to call at Montevideo and Buenos Aires.
Fernando Joselevich, Costa Cruises country manager for Argentina and Latin America pointed out that “Argentine officials from the ministries of Transport, Tourism, migration, the Health ministry and frontier Sanitary staff, have all been most helpful and ready to deliver all our requests”.
“Our objective has always been to ensure the start of the cruise season, guaranteed through our integral safety and sanitary protocols, the ideal conditions for our operations in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. But reasons, as displayed above, are forcing us to a domestic cruise season in Brazil”, added Joselevich.
Costa Cruises indicated that travel agencies have already been informed and the passengers affected by this decision have been given details for reprogramming future trips according to the terms and conditions of the packages.
Given this complex scenario, the company also informed that it will begin sales for the 2022/23 cruise season, “reinforcing its total commitment with Argentina, Uruguay and South America”

Have 2 cruises booked on Silver Moon for Feb.9 from Buenos Aires to Manaus and then Manaus to Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Did you get any more info? We are supposed to do the falls in Feb. with Silversea and have not heard anything.

Mine is listed also! Feb 9 Buenos Aires to Manaus.
Now let's hope Silversea puts the Moon cruises on the website.

It's very strange nothing on the SS website,It's been about 2 weeks.
Just think about how many potential bookings they have lost with 5
months ( Nov. to March) of Silver Moon not showing a single cruise.

I know you can switch from a Silversea agent to your own agent. But can you switch from your agent to a Silversea agent with a current booking?
Very frustrated with my agent with return calls and emails.

I agree the situation is terrible, but how hard is it to at least put the Moon's new South America cruises on the website? That's the reason for my bad job comment.
