  1. Hi fellow cruiser. We have been on the adventure two times this year and leave Sat on her again. She is in good shape  considering covic break and disruption of drydock. She did a quick drydock visit to Freeport in Sept 21. Due for a complete in Cadis Spain this fall. There are a few rust spots around the edges but furniture, carpet and the three cabins we were in plumbing, etc worked fine. You will enjoy the ship.       Bob & Nancy. The Villages Florida.      Send you a photo of 4th deck dining area to show you carpet, furniture

  2. Also if the Pinnacle count exceeds the cut off number  only the higher point pinnacles will be allowed all week  and remainder of pinnacle's unable to use coastal.  will not book D+ at dinner if this  happens as it is now on several  Coastal ships each week. several weeks ago the cutoff on Harmony was 1150 points and higher got access

  3. Merion- Mom is correct in that Royal does not allow this. For one reason Royal has a lot more passengers and cabins than Celebrity and many others. Some people come on with a bag or two but many drag two or three thru the terminal, elevators and windjammer in addition to a big back pack that hits many of the other elevator passengers when they turn around.      Check your bags and give a porter the tip as just part of the vacation

Oh the good old days for sure!   Limited selection, hot breakfast and lunch (with wine/beer) in the Concierge Lounge (as it was at that time) on deck 11.  Never crowded, always a pleasure and good service.  They later changed it to the DL...now back to CL...sort of.  😉

Indeed sadly, that was the plan all along until Covid hit.  She was due to be amped, putting the DL in the bilge.  And most likely will still be done at some point.  I wonder if they will still plan on putting Wonderland in that spot as other Oasis sisters?

Remember the good olds days also. All gone with the free upgrades for Pinnacles and Diamond plus, Free bridge and kitchen tours, meal with and officers. Saw another post  and think we will be sharing the same ships in this month and later. Also sorry to hear passing of your Fur Babies. We were also in the short  cruises mode until our  Cocker crossed the rainbow Bridge.  Bob & Nancy

  5. THey are replacing  a lot of the old equipment and opening two new surface lots next to garage. This was in the port news letter i got a week ago.

    Parking Lot Expansion Project 🚧

Preparations are in full swing to accommodate the upcoming arrival of Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas to Port Canaveral’s Cruise Terminal 1 (CT1). On October 25, the Oasis-class size ship will make history as the first in its class to sail 3- and 4-day itineraries.

To accommodate the expected higher passenger counts, efforts are well underway to construct expanded parking facilities adjacent to CT1. Phase one of this project will provide an additional 870 parking spaces with plans to add another 400 parking spots in subsequent phases of the project. The new surface parking areas will have a pay-on-entry system that aligns with the current pay-on-entry system at the CT1 parking garage. This upgrade will expedite the parking process and ensure convenience for all passengers sailing from CT1.

Contractors for the project, Ivey's Construction and Canaveral Construction Company, began work in June and are on track for substantial completion just in time for Allure of the Sea's anticipated arrival. This $8 million capital improvement project is an investment in the Port’s commitment to ensuring a quality guest experience for cruise passengers.

  7. Was at the terminal  two weeks ago  on Independence and saw  new surface lots  under construction at terminal 1. The old paved lot on south side across street has been extended  on west end. The old grass lot on west  side has been  paved and fenced  and spaces marked but still under construction . Does anyone know whether they will be pay on entry or the slow process of pay at exit?

  8. JUst a little info on Mamma Mia. Have seen it many times since the start . Near the end  many people get up and start out and they miss the best of the performance. They come out like the final goodbye and then say "Do you want more/" and they go into around ten minutes of non stop  dancing and singing. We have five booked on Allure starting Oct 25th  in Cananveral so don't know yet what they will do o on tmes for 3 & 4 day.      Bob & Nancy

  9. Just to advise  diamond + usually restricted to dinner space available only .Have dinned in coastal for lunch mostly on   seven cruises this year  on allure, harmony, wonder  and with seven days  they had some dinners open. We are on the first 5 day on allure  on Oct.25 and three more 3 & 4  day after when she gets to Canaveral.Have a lot more pinnacles using canaveral and with only three days  or four  expect dinner and lunch to be used more. First night now is the  filet and lately  dinner is full. Our good friend is the OIC of all specialty restaurants on the Allure and  have not gotten the word either on the Pinnacle  vouchers  for the specialty   restaurants  with the shorter  cruises. With the cheaper pricing on suites changing to 3 & 4 days  they should all be full and many first time full suite crusiers so dinner might be a premium

Actually the wonder 7 day, one day off, then 4 day utopia. .. wonder costs more per day, not ,ess.

Everyone assumes it's more..  not for bella2 ...plus utopia .. utopia is the better value per day.

You are correct. We booked two BTB  on Utopia  for Sept 13th and 2 more BTB on the Utopia  for  Jan 6 and price for Wonder one day later in Jan was over $ 900.00 more for the same  cabin. Also the 3 & 4 day on Oaisis class  starts in Oct out of Canaveral on the Allure. They will have The Utopia  to coordinate with the Nassau beach club later in 2025.We booked the four  on pre opening day  for C&A and on the 23rd price dropped on two so got 426.00 price adjustment the next day.
