Hey let's put it all in perspective here, you are going to Alaska not Barbados, use your common sense.  Google the weather channel and check out the temperatures and judge yourself accordingly.

Bermuda was my first ever port of call when I was in the Navy.

I was on a Cunard ship from NY to Bermuda which spent 3 full days there.

The Queen Victoria is the older of the two ships, the Q.E have more out door sporting facilities  including a bowling green on the top deck, overall in doors both are just the same. We love both ships but find the crew on the Q.V. just slightly more friendly.

Thanks luckymal for your quick and positive response, I am booked on the Queen Elizabeth on an Alaska cruise, I don't know why I am going to Alaska because I can see fjords, moose, icebergs, caribou and bears in my backyard here in Newfoundland and Labrador.

There's ferries and freighter cruises all the time.  You don't have to restrict yourself to a bona fide cruise ship....Dah
