    Hi Steve, I am not at all familiar with Long Beach and your postings has provided me with such great detailed information. Both your posting and Scott's give me a great frame of reference. I am going to check out all of the hotels you both listed. I simply desire a room for one nite before my cruise. Thank for your input.

    Have traveled on Azamara, Holland America, Princess, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and Carnival. On some cruises there have been a number of Gays and less on others. I usually contact with more straight folks, spend time and go to meals with them.

    Booked my first cruise since Covid on Carnival Panorama out of Long Beach - Dec 10, 2002.

    I have traveled on Azamara and planned to just sit by myself at a table for two. Yet in reality from the start, (straight) folks ask me to join them. Yes, there were Gay couples but I was included with (straight) folks and that was fine.
