  1. Hi I am travelling solo. I want to make dining reservations in the MDR for just me. I prefer not to eat at a shared table. Have done this in the past and it was a nightmare. Anyway, if I make a reservation on the app for just me, will my reservation be honored, cancelled or will I be forced to a shared table? Thanks

  5. Hi Looking at the Royal for Alaska for next year. On two different cruise dates, the same cabins are listed as available. Riveria - 720-721; 726-727 Caribe - 702-706 Baja - 626-630 Has anyone stayed in these? If so, is there a problem with them? Just wondering as it is strange to see the same cabins free for two different cruise dates. Thanks

  7. Looking at booking the 14 day Alaskan cruise from Vancouver return next August/September. I am not seeing any difference in price when I log in as opposed to not logging in. As a member, are we supposed to get a reduced price? Just to add, I am Platinum. Thanks
  8. I have been conversing on Facebook with someone who is currently on the ship. She said that they didn't stop at all in Amber Cove. Were told at beginning of cruise (last Saturday) that there were mechanical problems (ship never said what the problem was) and they would be going at snails pace. They have been late for ports and excursions have been cut short. This apparently started on the previous cruise (June 10) and she was told this by people doing a b2b. Hopefully it is fixed by July 8!
  9. I know this has been asked before but there are to many replies to go though. I am on the Caribbean Princess in 3 weeks. I am trying to book the specialty restaurants but the app keeps telling me that I will be able to book once I am closer to my jouney. The cruise is in 3 weeks. Shouldn't I be able to book by now?   10. Has anyone recently used the princess transfer from the airport to the hotel in Fort Lauderdale? I have read that in San Francisco and Vancouver, people were given taxi vouchers. Has anyone experienced this in Fort Lauderdale? Thanks

  13. No, package bought in February, 2023. I am afraid that if not changed, I will be charged the extra money for drinks over $12. Then I will have to get it changed onboard. They will be a pain!
  14. Was just in the app. My beverage package name has been changed. It was listed as Princess Plus but it now it says Plus 40. Also, the drink price has gone back to $12 instead of $15. Cruise was booked with the new price of the drinks. Anyone else have this?
