I think so, my new husband booked it 🥰 It’s been so worth it, though!! -
Carnival disembarkation with mobility scooter?

The rearmost two cabins on most decks have a huge L-shaped balcony. I’ve always wanted to try one, so we booked it for the honeymoon 🥰 -

Carnival disembarkation with mobility scooter?

Definitely putting most of the luggage out the night before - I just don't trust them with my wedding dress... We have an aft wraparound cabin, so the aft elevators should be handy, thanks! -

Good idea on the water, thanks! Still getting used to the POTS game. -
Carnival disembarkation with mobility scooter?

The friend who is staying behind with me is a 6ft Scandinavian weightlifter 😁 Not opposed to using a porter either if one is available. -
Brand new owner of a mobility scooter due to POTS - we will have priority boarding as a wedding party (Woohoo!) but how does getting off work? I seem to remember that the elevators are “luggage only” the first and last day? Is there one reserved for passengers that can’t do the stairs, or do we gather in a different area and get escorted off? My fiancé is planning on self assisting off so he can pick me and the friend that’s staying back with me up in our rental van.

Anyone get married in Mobile on embarkation day?
cowprintrabbit replied to cowprintrabbit's topic in Gulf Coast Departures
Thanks - sounds like a good place to take his parents to thank them for watching the kids while we get our marriage license! -
SDB is the only place I can get gluten-free Benedict - will have to try the lobster!

The problem with that is weddings board before the pickup is open… -
Mobility scooter on board "parking"

Except in Alabama, apparently. I’m still fighting with Scootaround because they want me to disembark during my wedding to pick up my scooter. -
In our wedding paperwork, I noticed this paragraph and now I'm freaking out a little bit: "The bride and groom may carry on a garment bag in addition to a carry-on bag. Only one hand-carry-on bag will be permitted for sailing guests and must fit through the security machine. Luggage not to exceed 24”w x 16”h. All other bags must be checked with the Porters." We both use CPAPs, I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user, and I'm bringing my own artificial flowers + a few accents for the reception tables because the all-white color scheme just isn't us (don't get me wrong, I understand if they tried to keep all the possible colors of everything on board, they'd need to tow a second ship.) On the plus side - I make a really good luggage cart! We're arriving fully dressed for photo reasons - since we won't have garment bags, do you think they'll let us on with two carry-ons, two CPAPs, and a box of supplies? If we have to pack everything into our carryons that's going to be tough since we're the only ones sailing.... We're having a lot of it shipped to my future MIL, who's driving to the port, so flying with it isn't an issue. Picture of my bouquet just because 🥰

I tried searching for this and didn't find anything - getting married on the Carnival Spirit next year. Our paperwork says: "The bride and groom may carry on a garment bag in addition to a carry-on bag. Only one hand-carry-on bag will be permitted for sailing guests and must fit through the security machine. Luggage not to exceed 24”w x 16”h. All other bags must be checked with the Porters." The ceremony is on embarkation day, so we're arriving fully dressed. However, we both use CPAPs; will we be allowed to carry those on ourselves in addition to our carry-ons? I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user, so I make a very good luggage cart 😜

Question about Windjammer Buffet

You could always custom paint a tray with your names and the sailing date? That would make it obvious it's not something to be cleared away. -

Sounds like she's worried about being able to carry food for both of them without spending the entire meal running back and forth. -
I figured the ingredients were probably the same fleet-wide? Maybe not geographically though…
