To make any changes to the sea walk would probably mean taking it out of service thus denying access to other ships. We had problems with over the last 5 years, a couple of flow switches, program card and another expensive part can’t remember name of, that was the one we waited for a week for, fortunately all covered under service contracted. It’s was showing its age was quite noisy when on and struggled to heat the water if we used it for a bath.

Ours was a Glowworm, the last part required took over a week to come, heating & hot water was a bit his and miss whilst we were waiting, switching it off and back on again tended to solve it for a while. Also wasn’t as efficient as a new boiler, s hopefully we will see a reduction in gas bill as well.

New boiler installed and working, immediately noticed how quiet it is compared to old one. The engineer at our last service said we should look at replacing as parts for old boiler were get more difficult to obtain and better to plan a replacement rather than have to replace possibly in the depths of winter.

Weird things happening in this house think we have a poltergeist. For the last couple of months a bottle of my wife’s perfume has moved close the edge of the shelf it’s on, we move it back only to find it is on the edge again. There are 4 bottles on shelf only one moves, very strange. This morning I noticed the pictures on the wall down the stairs were all at an angle, as are 2 in the lounge. A pen I has mislaid 2 months ago mysteriously reappeared on my desk yesterday morning. I checked the BGS site for any earth tremors, nothing reported. I had my 3 year car valued in January when first thought about swapping, was valued at £12,250 just popped into dealers as was curious to see a new hybrid just launched, salesman valued it at £14, 500. Both valuations were against deals on similar new cars.

What manufacturer, my neighbours new car won’t be available until late October, I now thinking of planning to change mine.

I stopped where crocs about 5 years ago, I was suffering from tendinitis my GP sent me to a podiatrist she asked me about my footwear and when I mentioned crocs she said that’s the cause, stop wearing them and tendinitis should go. After 2 months I no longer suffered, the crocs went in shoes recycling at council recycling centre and I am careful what I wear now.

We have cutback on our meals out, we went to one our favourite local eateries most main courses have risen by between £1.50 & £2.50, desserts up by a £1 soft drinks up by 40p. Also on the board they are seeking staff, so than can open more than 4 days a week they currently are. Looking at online menus at others similar rises have taken place. We were one of 3 couples in the eatery at the time, it used be really busy most evenings but not any longer. So it’s not surprising that P&O have raised their prices as the hospitality industry is suffering a drop in trade which shows no sign of recovering any time soon.

We do the same at home, we have stoppers then remove some of the air in the bottle find it keeps well for 2 or 3 days.

After being advised there could be a delay in installing out new boiler due to shortage of stock, email this evening informing me they had secured a boiler and can fit it Friday, which I have said yes to. Boilers are apparently suffering the same issue as new cards, shortage of semiconductors.

Just tried the voice system out on our security camera, one of which points into garden, on a cat that stalks the birds by the feeder. It looked totally confused by me shouting at through the speaker as it couldn’t understand where is came from. It walk towards the house, I shouted once more and it shot off. confuse a 🐈‍⬛
