  1. We were in Lanzarote on a Sunday and did the excursion that went to Teguise & the volcanic garden, canโ€™t remember the name. We really enjoyed both stops
  2. I hope you feel better soon. It does sound like thereโ€™s a strain of โ€˜somethingโ€™ that doesnโ€™t show up on tests.
  3. I do think 8 /8:30 is a more neighbourly time to mow the lawn. If it happens again I wonโ€™t be as polite ๐Ÿ™„
  4. Glad youโ€™re starting to feel better. Itโ€™s strange, Mum has felt terrible but like you all tests have been negative.
  5. Morning My parents disembarked Arvia last Sunday and mid week dad tested positive, fortunately not feeling too bad. Mr B and I spent the weekend weeding and painting all the metal work in our daughters garden while she was away, I didnโ€™t realise how much hammerite paint stains, and Iโ€™m not an overly tidy painter ๐Ÿ˜‚ Just out of interest, what time would you consider acceptable to mow your lawn in the morning if you live in a mid terrace in a residential street? Our neighbour was out cutting his grass at 6:50 this morning. As politely as I could I called out the window that it was too early! 6:50 ๐Ÿ˜ณ
  6. Iโ€™m glad you had a good cruise on Ventura. We really enjoyed our cruise on her in August, wouldnโ€™t hesitate to book on her again.
  7. Belated happy birthday to John. i was at Bluewater yesterday too, with daughter #1 and my grandson ๐Ÿ˜Š
  8. Not everyoneโ€™s choice of colour but it goes with lots of my clothes
  9. I'm glad you had a good time, Mum & Dad were on the same cruise. They did the same, booked the same table at the same time for multiple evenings. Dad enjoyed all of his meals, mum had a few tough bits of meat and said she preferred the food on Iona. They had a really good time, even with dad's shorts falling down in front of everyone coming through security ๐Ÿ˜‚ but they have both said they prefer Iona to Arvia, I'm not really sure why.
  10. I will take a photo for you later or tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜Š
  11. It was such a lovely place, we had never visited before, we'll definitely go back again. I can imagine that it's a very nice place to live!
  12. Beautiful! I'm glad you enjoyed your cruise ๐Ÿ˜Š
  13. We spent the weekend in Portsmouth before picking mum & dad up from their Arvia cruise this morning. They seem to have had a great time, they took things slow and had a relaxing fortnight with some excellent excursions. Apologies to anyone who was on the same cruise, and witnessed my dad's shorts falling down round his knees coming through security on a port day! ๐Ÿ˜‚ the perils of having to remove his belt. It will keep the family chuckling for quite a while. My husband and I visited Petworth House on Friday on our way to Portsmouth, then spent yesterday at the Dockyard, very interesting and we managed to do the harbour boat tour which was great. We had to walk through Gunwharf on our way back and Radley was right there in front of me and I succumbed to buying a handbag...it was a bargain ๐Ÿ˜
  14. Congratulations! How exciting. We have Grandchild #2 due mid Feb ๐Ÿฅฐ
  15. Iโ€™m really happy for you that you finally returned to cruising, lovely photos
  16. Mum and Dad said their boarding on Sunday was very good too. We got wet dropping them off. Enjoy your cruise โ˜บ๏ธ
  17. Oooh you have more than me, I need to up my hand bag game ๐Ÿ˜‚ I have quite a few Kipling bags and backpacks too, very handy for travel.
  18. Thatโ€™s not good! Iโ€™ve never had an issue with any of mine & Iโ€™ve got quite a few ๐Ÿฅด Michael Kors is a very good choice, I sadly one have one of those so far ๐Ÿ˜
  19. I did buy one on Ventura last month and a small one at the start of the summer ๐Ÿ˜
  20. Yes that is on the to-do list, although I think my husband is hoping I wont spend any money in the Radley shop โ˜บ๏ธ
  21. Oh costochondritis is awful, I really feel for her. My youngest daughter had it when she was 18 and the pain was so bad she thought she was having a heart attack and had to go to A&E for ECG's before she was diagnosed. She still has mild flare ups now 8 years on. I hope your niece recovers from it soon.
  22. Thank you, lunch was very nice, we had a Sunday roast followed by a lemon meringue tart, delicious. Unfortunately the heavens opened and we were caught in torrential rain as we were walking there and we turned up looking like drowned rats ๐Ÿ˜‚ Arvia was a little late leaving I assume due to the weather. We're going down in 2 weeks time to collect my parents and have decided to go a couple of days early, will stay in Portsmouth and visit the Dockyard. Hopefully the weather will be better.
