You wouldn't be "clear to cruise" until you do the health questions anyway. For us the vax cards were accepted pretty immediately. Was it the usual CDC card you uploaded?
Yes. I submitted them 2-3 days ago.

I haven’t been able to get through to X. Do I have to fill out any special paperwork before our cruise? I saw HC forms on their website.

I tried to check in for my January cruise with the Celebrity app. It verified my Travel info and Arrival Time but says I’m we’re not yet cleared to board because they are still Validating our Vaccination Records and our answers to health questions must be the day before the cruise. I submitted copies of our vaccine records. Is this normal?

I tried several times to check in on the app but it said it was too early (1/3/2022). Now today it says Check In has ended and we have to do it at the port. What does all this mean?

Would someone please recommend a nice hotel for a one night pre-cruise stay? Anyone stayed at the Best Western Oceanside Plus Fort Lauderdale or the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina? Your thoughts.
Thanks in advance.
I haven’t stayed at BW, but thought about it. All the reviews I saw were good, except one recent one said they got bed bugs. I decided not to take the chance and booked Hampton Inn.

We got this offer as part of the "Always Included." I drink very little alcohol, but I'm a huge coffee drinker. Are the specialty coffees included? We'll be on the Equinox, if it matters.

We are in an accessible veranda cabin. We depart at 5pm. I’m trying to set up a shuttle from our hotel. What time will we be likely to be allowed to board?

Have any of you used Celebrity’s transfer service in Ft. Lauderdale and how was it?

We are flying in the night before our cruise. Need to stay in an accessible room ( I can’t do steps) and are looking for a hotel with free shuttle from the airport and the port. Any recommendations?

Aren’t they about $200 pp or about $800/4 persons?

I found an Alaska cruise I would like to book for August. TA is telling me that in addition to proof of vaccination, I will have to pay for a negative Covid test for all 4 of us (fully vaccinated and over 12 yrs). That makes the price total too much for me. Is my TA correct?

The only tour I would do a second time was at Hilo; the botanical gardens. It was gorgeous and I’ve never seen gardens that go down to a beach!

I believe the handicap cabins are designed around assisting people with scooters, wheelchairs, and walkers. People who need the wider cabins doors to get in and our with those devices and extra room to store them. I probably wouldn't consider requesting a handicap cabin unless I needed a device that like that.
I don't use a mobility device, except a cane, but am unsteady on my feet. I need the grab bars in the restroom and use them at home too. I have a neurological condition, but look normal. People on a cruise tend to think I'm intoxicated, but I'm not.

I thought I read somewhere there was none, which would be strange. I must've been confused by the Retreat pool.

Does Equinox have no pool? If so, what is where the pools would normally be?

We were scheduled for Alaska this year on the Solstice, but switched to the Carribbean on Equinox. Tell me about it.

You ever book a third and fourth passenger in the same cabin before? Tell me if you did and what you paid.
Sometimes I've found it cheaper to book the 3rd and 4th passengers their own cabin. More room too.

I'm considering using my FCC for a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale. How far apart are the airport and cruise terminal and is it easy to get transportation between the two? If I flew in the night before, could I stay in a hotel at or near the airport? I'm disabled if that makes any difference.

I have an Alaskan cruise booked with NRD for August 2021. It's probably going to be cancelled. I already did L&S from 2020. Can I use FCC to apply towards a 2022 Carribbean cruise or do I just lose my NRD? I'm okay with losing it as I feel like no one is coming out of covid without some loss.

I wouldn’t’ cruise unless it’s required and I would get it even if I didn’t want to cruise.

I'm in my low 60's but might be 65 before I get it. Looks like a long time. My husband ids 70, and hasn't got it yet. In fact my MIL is 91, in LTC in CA and hasn't got it yet.

So my TA called and got us moved at no charge. We not only moved up a deck, we were moved from very forward to mid-ship. It likely won't sail anyways (August to Alaska), but I'm really pleased with the cabin!

Can anyone make sense of the US recommendation to vaccinate all healthy 16-64 yr. olds at the same time? Certainly a 64 yr. old's risk is far more than a 16 yr. old's? UK is vaccinating by decades; in other words, over 85's, then over 75's, then over 65's and over 55's and so on down the line, with under 25's being last. That seems to make a lot more sense. As it is now, my grandchild and I are in the same group!

I originally had a cruise booked for last August, used Lift and Shift and changed to 2021. In the meantime, I have become handicapped and will probably need an accessible cabin. Will X allow me to change? This was booked through a TA so I guess I need to contact them.

Thank you. I called the number in the link and they said I didn’t need to fill anything out because my TA already confirmed that I needed that cabin. I only needed to fill it out if they didn’t or like you said, if I needed something special. They noted special assistance needed boarding and disembarking.
