Can't speak specifically for the Breakaway but I haven't seen 24-hr availability recently on the ships that do have self serve. Thought I'd try on my last cruise, it was shortly after the buffet closed, and there was the machine, completely cleaned our, resting for the nite.😒

Platinum only. You can always ask if they have space but usually it's a no. And they checked status on room keys the last time I went! -
At this time, they don't have a NCL card, so nothing to transfer the points to. Cruise is paid for so can't use cruise payment to fulfill purchase requirement. I definitely don't want to tempt fate by applying my points to their reservation - it's after final payment, don't want to risk the reservation getting cancelled.

Code for double points is LATITUDE. So no, you don't have double points. -

In the long run, it makes no difference. But using a CN that covers the full deposit means your "loan" to NCL is $375-$400 vs a 10% deposit which could be considerably more. -
Yea, that kinda contradicts the terms that do say you can't transfer or sell points, then go on to say that you may be able to transfer to another BofA account, give them a call. Kinda hate to have someone go to all the effort of getting a new card if it's not going to work. Cruise has already been paid for, so can't use that for getting additional points.

You are correct, Costco does not book BOGO, RT or otherwise - so that could be the issue for the OP.
-
Yes, you can absolutely use the BOGO airfare, basically one-way on each end. Sorry, your TA is misinformed.
-
So I just spoke to BofA - no dice on transferring points to someone else. Maybe it's different if it's your spouse. Also asked WWP if I could add them to my account - still a no. Oh well, still options for a bid or price drop.
-
I think you read that wrong. No studio cabins & studio lounge but they should still the have solo inside, OV and balcony cabins available. They are regular cabins, just now designated as a sub-category.
-
Now that's a thought. Plus they'd get 2K or more in points...

Not sure how you got "rogue" chefs from what I posted, based on info from various head chefs. Repeating a 7-day sequence doesn't mean NCL meals #1-7. It means choosing 7 from the available 21. And the chefs all said they choose the sequence. I took a look at the menus from my last dozen cruises - 10 of 12 had prime rib on day 1, not beef medallions. The other 2 were listed as All American. -
Unlimited Wi-Fi pricing ever go on sale?

Since I have little or no need for WiFi on day 1, upgrading on day 2, if I even upgrade (FAS minutes are usually enough) works for me. I'd rather spend the $20 in the casino LOL. -
Sorry, just tried to do this, gift an upgrade to family. Got a resounding NO. Points can't be transferred. I actually booked the cabin, then changed the name, so I asked if I would have been able to do the upgrade while the cabin was still in my name. They said it would have eventually kicked out the upgrade. However, I've gotten misinformation from the WWP people in the past, so maybe you'd have better luck - wouldn't hurt to call and ask. To answer your other question, the 60,000 points would be per cabin.

Double latitude points now being offered?

Current trend is for past-cruiser extra points possibly changing monthly - some come, some go, some stay the same for a few months - or all season. www.ncl.com/latitudes-rewards-program/insider-offer -

Rebooking should not be necessary - on your end. On the back end, yes NCL will reprice a reservation, keeping your room and any payments, excursions, etc. AFAIK, the promos are system generated, not something that can simply be added by a PCC - but it's taken care of during a reprice. But as has already been stated, it's an all-or-none situation. You get the current price and the current promos. -

Value of a CN Haven is $500. Cost for 1 is $400, cost if you buy in multiples is $375. The advantage is that 1 is valid for your deposit, which at 10% is usually more than $500. -

Yes, to the 21 (22?) day menu from corporate. I often go to the behind-the-scenes tour, dinner with officers. Chef on my latest 7-day cruise said he only does a 7-day rotation, starts over with day 1 on a longer cruise. Which would account for having Prime Rib on day 8, which has happened. When I commented that would mean that menu 21 would basically never be served, he just gave me a funny look, never answered. Chef on a previous cruise said he chooses his menus and would go through day 11 on an 11 day cruise for example, although he didn't say whether he chose menus in order. Provisions officer told me that the chef chooses the menus 6 months in advance so they can order what they need when the head chef comes onboard. Other than fresh fruit or perishables (and salmon in Alaska) they rarely re-provision during a cruise, it's primarily done at the port of embarkation. -

You can get a single Haven deposit which does take care of the deposit but you only save $100 by only buying 1. I don't believe you can use 2 Haven certificates unless it's during a double-up promo. And using 2 regular CNs during a doubleUp may not always satisfy the deposit requirement, terms vary. You could wait for a $500 CF offer, although I don't believe it would necessarily satisfy the Haven deposit. You might be able to find a single Haven Deposit for sale online for $250? -

You are entering uncharted waters to some degree as new terms apply soon, with the change to "credits" from "certificates." Yes, if you cancel it appears the credits will still go back to your account. You could get 2 regular CNs - pay $250, valued at $500, or 2 Haven CNs -pay $750, valued at $1000. Basically, you can save $250 with CN if you book during a double-up promo. CruiseFirst has 2 options - $300 and $500, you pay half the face value. So no need to wait for a double up if you catch the $500 option - but it's not always offered. You do have to buy the certificates for a future date. Where the change appears to be, other than some administrative stuff, is that the previous loophole that allowed people to add a CN to an existing reservation when there is a double-up promo, may be closing. Which means paying attention to what is offered when you book. CF already had that "loophole" covered. -

Uh, OK - cost of first day is $109, waiting until midnight is $89. Don't see any $5 in that. -
For most of my international flights, I've flown overnight and arrived at my destination in the morning, often way too early to check into my hotel. But I also arrived at 5:30pm on my last trip. I've also had same-day flights, arriving in the evening. That particular flight was domestic, west to east so included a 3-hr time difference. Your best bet is to look at what is available from your location to your destination. Sometimes it's fairly obvious what you might get. While it never hurts to ask, most feedback seems to be that they don't usually honor special requests - I wish they would! Or at least let you choose from a couple of options - on a recent trip, they gave me a short layover when there was another plane leaving 2 hours later. I ended up on the later plane anyway because I missed my connection.

Thank you, locked out if you start using your minutes is the information I've been looking for - and suspected! Lots of posts regarding upgrading but pretty vague answers, not the specifics with respect to using minutes or not. -

Huh? You got the $20 for the week correct. Where does "whopping $5 for the week" come from?
