The only thing more over rated than Texas Bar BQ are the Dallas Cowboys.

We stayed there on our included night on our November cruise. Nice but certainly not worth $799. More like $199.

On our November Explorer cruise, if out by 9am, returned that evening.

We ate at Compass Rose last night and they indeed did the bread basket ritual.
however, I wore black and did not get a black napkin !
My wife just commented that she was offered a black napkin on several occasions when she wore black on our November Explorer cruise.

I think the problem is more problematic. We and others on our November 15 Explorer cruise experienced poor ribeye steaks. I love ribeyes but mine was like shoe leather; it was certainly not prime. It was not even choice. They need to dump the lot of their ribeyes on their butcher’s doorstep and get their money back!
The “problem is more problematic?” Jeez! I need to read my posts before submitting them!

I think the key mistake is that they just butchered them way too thin. Johnetta's tenderloin was about 3/4 inch while mine was about a 1/2 inch. Triple that thickness for both of us would have been ideal!

We signed up for our tours for SHINING CAPITALS OF WEST AFRICA | Nov 12, 2022 | Seven Seas Voyager cruise tonight. We got all that we wanted except that there are no free tours in Cape Verde.
Do I have to check every day to see if any have been added? What is our best course of action?
Also, are we notified if new tours are added or our selected tours are removed?

What is a reasonable tip for a tour leader and driver?

You will get them with your cruise docs from your TA.

Thanks all.

Do the supplied robes and slippers come in different sizes?

We're on this cruise also, and looks like we just got moved from the Conrad to AKA Brickell.
Same hotel. It was just sold. It is no longer part of Hilton.

I vote that Regent send me less marketing material and apply the savings to Mike's budget. 😀

Just looked at my excursions for an upcoming cruise. Still painfully slow. So "your mileage may vary." 🙂

Anything special for Thanksgiiving?

We got 5 out of 6 (2 of each) on sea days including on our anniversary. Seems like enough for now. We will wait to make new additional reservations once on the ship.

Glad I made my reservations last night!

For our Miami to Miami November 15 cruise, it appears that I can make up to 15 reservations. We are in a concierge cabin for this 24 night cruise. I thought that we would only be allowed 3. On my account it says 3 of 15 Dining Reservations Completed. I added 3 more and it says 6 of 15 Dining Reservations Completed. I may add some more tomorrow.
Are we special? 😀 Or is the ship that empty?

A memo came from Regent today that said that for any cruise departing before Dec. 31, 2021, except the world cruise, the final day one can cancel without penalty is 60 days before embarkation. This gives us some breathing room before we have to make a final decision to fish or cut bait.
Do you have a link to the memo?

Also to insert date in excel or other spreadsheet and subtract 60 from the date. No need for internet
Of course. But everyone reading this forum can use the link, but some will not have Excel 😀

A useful tool to calculate the date for 60 (or any) days before embarkation ... https://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd.html
Always Included Question

We are taking our grandkids to Alaska in July and have booked it with the Always Included option.
What kind of drinks package do the kids get?
Also, can I just upgrade my drinks package and not my wife's and the kids'?
