  1. I have called carnival and they gave me until 30 days prior to sailing to make final payment. I am on the Glory March 14th and i do not feel optimistic that it will happen. My final payment is due December 14th. I will simply call that day and ask for extension considering there is nothing sating it will or wont sail;
  2. We are scheduled on 14th of March....I am trying to stay hopeful but not getting that fuzzy feeling again. I have another cruise booked for December 2021 on Sky Princess as a back up. If Glory sails that will be awesome 2 cruises one year
  3. Glory booked for March 14th out of New Orleans
  4. I don't believe scheduled....like i said it is docked in a dry dock slip, but who knows whats going on.
  5. As i am going on the Glory in March, looks like she is in a dry dock slip in the Freeport shipyard. Maybe she is having things done to get ready to cruise again hopefully.
  6. I had a sailing that was for Sept 6th 2020, I called right before final payment and they extended my final payment to 30 days prior. I would recommend that
  7. I am really glad this thread is so positive! I am catching myself looking at the Glory all the time even though i have already been on her. Hoping that Carnival will bring a newer ship to New orleans again. Was very nice to have the dream for a while
  8. Last time I left out of Ft. Lauderdale I stayed at Th Holiday Inn Express on 17th. Was a short walk to the Port if you want to get up early and see the ships before you head in. Price was also pretty good and included breakfast. Transfers to the Pier was i think about $10 or $15. We are leaving out of Ft. Lauderdale in December 2021 and will most likely try to stay there the night before again
  9. So with all the Doom and Gloom regarding Cruising and Covid, lets all remember all the fun we have had and all the time we spend on Cruisecritc the weeks months or even years before your next cruise. Was Just wondering when is everyones next cruise is booked and what you are most looking forward to. Please no negativity!!!!! Just fun pictures and plans we are all looking forward too. Me personally I am looking forward to my cruise on the Glory as well as my next on the Sky Princess! Nothing better then the moment you walk on board and realize that you are now on vacat
  10. Well i think possibly mid December if not early January....Hopefully cruising will be back up in most ports by march...but only time will tell.
  11. just call and ask for final payment to be extended to 30 days out. I did for one of mine that ended up getting cancelled in September
  12. Well this is some positive news to look forward to hopefully. If they are allowing 15,000 people at a game i think that New orleans will open the port by MArch.....But also only if Carnival Decides to sail again out of new orleans that soon
  13. So, Just booked the Sky Princess out of Ft. Lauderdale for December 4th 2021. I am pretty confidant that she will sail and hopefully most of this Covid crap will be behind us. Got an amazing deal at least i think. Obstructed balcony including Drink package, WIFI, Gratuities for $2,495.00. I have been on the Regal Princess and notice there are some difference between the two even though they are the same class. I do love the aft pool. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
  14. Very True, We will see what happens at the end of the month. If the no sail order is lifted and Cruising begins in Mid to late December or January, I think my Cruise on the Glory for mid march may be safe...but who knows.
