  1. I just want to thank you for this information. Thank you!
  2. @princeton123211 LOL. Thank you. I didn't realize it was such a huge tour company. I checked and there were no tours from Hilo the day we will be there. I have two companies in mind. Keikana Tours or C Big Island Tours. If you have used either of those companies, please share. Thanks again for responding!
  3. Thank you! I actually looked at his tours for Kauai but didn't think about his tours for The Big Island. I am looking now. πŸ™‚
  4. @gdlamberth Thank you. I have not heard of this website. I will check it out.
  5. Can anyone recommend a great tour that leaves from Hilo to see Volcanot National Park? This is my first Hawaiin cruise and first visit to The Big Island. I will be there in June, if this helps. πŸ™‚Thank you.
  6. Consider Long Beach airport. I know there aren't as many flights but this airport is so much easier to deal with and not nearly as much traffic. If this is an option for you, I would look into it. πŸ™‚
  7. Hello. I haven't done this yet but I think I will do it on my cruise in June. On another site (trip advisor), there are plenty of reviews and one from today. Here is the frist line from today's review I just read. "The Hilo Hoppa On Hoppa Off bus is based very close to the cruise terminal. We had pre-booked our Hop On Hop Off experience, however it’s also easily available to book on the day!" I haven't booked it yet. I hope this helps.
  8. @travelin.sisters Thank you so much for all the extra details about the classes and all the extra pictures. I will go back and look at the Patters. Thank you for adding the post numbers too. You are so helpful. πŸ™‚
  9. I have a question I have been wondering. Does it cost to have a lounger in the Sanctuary? I have seen a few posts and now I am under the impression there is a fee. If so, how much? Thank you. πŸ™‚
  10. @travelin.sisters Thank you so much for your wonderful, detailed review. IT took me a few days to read it. πŸ™‚ I am not going on the Crown but doing the 16 night Hawaii from LA on Emerald. I have a few questions: You talked about setting clocks back/forward. Since it's a three hour difference, do you do it one time or more than once? I read the first night you set your clocks forward and was up the next day at 0400! Yikes! I am curious about the wasabi macadamia nuts. What is the brand? Someone already asked about the cost for the Lei class. You said there was no cost. When do you have to sign up for it or how did you know about it? Was it available to you because of your cruising status with Princess? Or was it open to everyone? It sounds fun and I would love to do this. I really learned a lot from your review. Thank you so much. I have only sailed Princess one time, a test cruise for us. It was 3 nights from Vancouver to LA on the Star Princess. We enjoyed the food and service and the ship, even though it was an older ship. We knew we wanted to sail with Princess again. This will be our first cruise back since 2019.
  11. I have questions about the Thermal Suite on Emerald. (I am new to Princess) How many hot beds does this ship have? (I have tried searching everywhere and it seems like there might be 6 but then another picture shows 4.) And on my account I can add it for $299 now before I get on the ship. Does anyone know how much it is on the ship the first day? I planned on going there first thing to check it out but I see $299 is the "best price" in my booking info. Thank you. Any information will be helpful.
  12. Love this review! Thank you so much. You sure have a lot of energy on each island! πŸ™‚ I look forward to more.
  13. Thanks everyone. I decided to go with the starboard side. πŸ™‚
  14. Thank you!!! I have searched everywhere. I haven't used CC in years and a lot has changed. πŸ™‚
  15. Thanks. I would delete this post but I don't know how. I also posted this in the Princess thread and got more answers there.
  16. @travelin.sisters Wow! I love your pictures. I got chills watching your video. I miss cruising so much. Last one was November 2019. Thank you for your input. πŸ™‚ And the beautiful pictures.
  17. @Caribensun That is good to know. I bet those cabins are the first to go. I will definitely consider one of these cabins if I repeat the cruise. Thanks for the tip!
  18. That is great. Thank you for your response. πŸ™‚
  19. Thank you so much. You are a very experienced Hawaiin cruiser! πŸ™‚I looked at your sailing and the cabins I were interested in were sold out. Have a great cruise.
  20. Wow! What a nice view to wake up to. Thank you. This is the kind of info I was looking for. πŸ™‚
