Overnight Bermuda and Overnight Cabo I believe.

As for long days my upcoming abc has 8am-10pm in both Aruba and Bonaire.

I read both of your blogs on Bermuda but didn’t notice if you could exit the ship when you wanted or had to wait till a designated time. Thanks for any info!

We are on the Panorama transpacific from Singapore to LA  on October 12 and it includes an overnight stay in Honolulu.  It was originally supposed to be a stop in Maui and a stop in Honolulu. but they canceled the Maui stop and replaced it with 2 days in Honolulu.

I love Hawaii!! I’m sorry you won’t be stopping in Maui.

I had this exact same scenario last year with Carnival in Bermuda and I found out the hard way. NCL & RCCL have port priority in Bermuda. Depending on the port schedule, Carnival ships may not dock in Bermuda. Instead, they tender in using the lifeboats from the ship. So even though we were there for multiple days, they still had an "all aboard" time each night to be back on the ship. I believe that was 11pm iirc. After that, they do not run the lifeboat tenders back and forth. Then the next day they did not start the tenders until 9am. It was very frustrating and our biggest complaint. We LOVE Bermuda. We're going back next month but going with NCL because they're docked in port for the entire 3 days. That way we can come/go as we please all night.

Here is the schedule for the port. If I’m reading this correctly, Venezia is docked at Heritage Wharf till 4pm on September 4 when we dock at 8am. Then we (Pride) will be at the dock alone until September 6 when Serenade of the Seas arrives at 10am and we depart at 12pm. Does that look correct?IMG_6055.thumb.jpeg.1c39b96b6c3bf1392e91b7ad2547ab65.jpeg

Bermuda cruise ship schedule: http://www.rccbermuda.bm/Documents/Shipping_schedules/2024 Cruise Ship Schedule.pdf shows the ship in port 8am on Wednesday September 4 and leaving on 12pm on Friday

the cruise manager may not be used to overnights so it could be glitch on the website. i seen overnights listed like Bermuda day 1 8am to 11:59pm, Bermuda day 2 12:00am to 11:59pm and so on

Thanks for the info! I’m trying to plan our Thursday (the one full day) with a visit to the Caves and I was planning on buying tickets (I’ve read on CC that the Caves can get booked up) and I was hoping on catching the earliest ferry to Hamilton. If I can’t get off the ship before 10am, my plans get pushed later and later. It’s a conundrum 🤷🏻‍♀️

  5. DH and I have a Bermuda cruise Sept 1, 2024.  We port at the Dockyard in Bermuda Wednesday, Sept 4 at 8am, according to my Cruise Manager.  The next morning Thursday, Sept 5 my Cruise Manager says 10am. We don't leave Bermuda till Friday, Sept 6 at 12pm. What does "10am" mean?  Does the ship move and come back at 10am?  Can I not get off the ship before 10am on Thursday?  Thanks for any insight!

Oh wow, sounds about right as far as personality goes. I'm glad Patti has had no issues with her!

It's interesting how the attitude of a typical friendly, welcoming Carnival worker to a surly, discontent Carnival worker is such a large contrast.  Maybe if Precious worked at McDonald's we wouldn't notice her negativity but on a Carnival cruise, she sticks out like a sore thumb.

Ok, I have read the thread and do not see this covered.  We want to buy the Athens combo pass. We land on Aug 29th at 1200, we plan on some sightseeing that afternoon, we have a full day on the 30th and want to see the Acropolis that morning and do some leisurely sightseeing, and eating. On the 31 we have to be on a ship in Piraeus by 1400, so we would like to use that morning wisely.

I am looking at buying the Athens combo ticket to start on the 29th, however, I do not want to go to the Acropolis until 0800 on the 30th, Is that possible?

DH and I stopped at a charming cafe just up the hill from Hadrian's Library called Klepsidra Cafe if you're looking for a break from shopping. I have pictures in my review on page 24.

I apologize, I know know if this answer is within this thread but I did try a search first. I added a AARP gift card in about noon today.  My balance has not changed.  It took the card number/pin, screen said it was applied.  I went back into my account, the balance is the same prior to me adding the gift card?  Is this normal? Thanks for any insight.

Same thing happened to me. I inputted the amount I wanted to pay in Other Amount (the amount on the gift card) then inputted the gift card number and pin and click Apply. I click on Select in the Other Amount and a box appears indicating the amount of the gift card I am applying and how much is left to pay. I click on the box that shows I agree to the Terms and Conditions then click on Submit Payment. Try this and I bet you'll be good to go!

I was on a cruise last year or the year before and a group of folks had LAMINATED sheets that said something to the effect of "table reserved for so-and-so game group" that they would put on Lido tables when they decided they wanted to play Uno or whatever stupid game they played.

Rude inconsiderate and the wrong cruise line for that kind of behavior. Charter a yacht if you want public areas of the ship for your exclusive use at a whim.

And there are areas outside of Lido (like where trivia is played) that have tables.

I have no idea what that game is but I read John's post this morning. Any exchange of monetary funds for a game outside of casino is considered gambling. Not just on a ship, anywhere. If you were playing for Snickers, I think you'll be fine.

    I would play for Snickers!!🥰

Somebody here posted a review of a cruise from down under back to the states.  In there thy mentioned that most places in Australia when you order a burger it comes with sliced beets on it.  Put a whole new perspective on it for me.

Well that's a bummer. I was down in Hobart, Tasmania in 1976 (courtesy of the USS Enterprise CVAN-65 and Uncle Sam). I spent time in both Hobart and also took the train to Launceston for 2 days during our week there. Never once did I see a burger & beets on the menu. Guess I'll have to go back and look. It was - easily, my favorite port call in 24 years of service, followed by Palma de Mallorca.

    Poor burger!😉🤣

Looking at the video Allgood posted,  its not quite what I expected.  Though I'm not really sure what I expected.

Generally I have found it to be a mish mosh of entertainment, many times primarily utilizing the passengers as entertainment.  Kinda like a local talent show.  Meh.
