I’m a she lol. My name is Nancy. Thanks to your group we did the nice emails and phone calls and got the “glitch” reversed and had Coco Cay reinstated! Just got the official email  this morning! Many thanks and you all have a wonderful cruise Saturday.

No. I would never and have never proposed that. Just  that we were given Coco Cay and the shore excursions options, but then it was taken away 3 weeks later.

True, but the letter they got and posted on their roll call states that Royal Caribbean listened to their phone calls and emails and reinstated. That was my point. 

Sorry, don’t know who to contact. We were substituted Nassau for Grand Cayman. In early February we were changed from Nassau to Coco Cay Yay!  Then a week later we were told it was a glitch. They did this to March 26(us) and March 12th. Following roll calls for both, I noticed that because enough people called and emailed and complained, they were officially listened to and got Coco Cay reinstated. Who do I contact to get Coco reinstated for our March 26 Odyssey of the Seas? We were both lumped together and itineraries mirrored each other. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Does the bed placement on Odyssey follow the same formula as the Oasis class?  If I look at 8254, looking at the pattern of the nearest connecting cabins, would the bed be by the bathroom/sofa by the balcony? 

. . .and then today, Coco Cay is gone from our itinerary and back to Nassau. Bummer!  At least I didn’t remove the Blue Lagoon w/lunch excursion that I booked when it was 30% off.

You were right. I’m able to adjust my bid on the website on the computer.

I’ll try going on my computer. My superior oceanview balcony says pending(it’s 51 days out). I just bid on this since I don’t want to get a bad balcony location or obstructed view balcony but I might try that, too. 

I was trying to raise/lower bid for a casino comped interior/virtual balcony to a superior balcony for our March 26 Odyssey of the Seas, but it won’t let me modify. Does that increase my chances of getting my bid accepted?  I bid $5 over minimum and I see there are several superior oceanview cabins available and no virtual balconies left.

Actually, we do have $312 onboard credit left of our $750 B of A RCCL money we originally applied to final payment that we got back from a 2020 cancelled cruise!  I’ve used the other portion on our other port excursions I reserved, so this will be splurge that will be worth it to us. I love lobster, so I’ll just get my money’s worth 🦞🦞

For us, who are mobility challenged, having the beach, pool and restaurants within a few feet of each other and good bar service on the beach is why we book there. We can also catch a cart from the gangway all the way to the entrance to the club (and back to the ship).

Looks wonderful!  If we were going with our adult children and grandchildren we probably wouldn’t do this, but since it’s just my husband and I this go round, you’re pictures just cinched the deal lol!!

No it’s not. We’ve been to Nassau before, so looking forward to Coco Cay. From what I’m seeing it looks like Royal’s ships are able to make most of their ports now. So happy to be cruising again!

Looks like we might be going to Coco Cay instead of Nassau if new itinerary showing is correct. The excursions are not showing yet, still showing Nassau excursions. Has any one done the Coco Bay Beach Club and is it worth it in your opinion?

What nights are formal nights on 8 day Odyssey of the Seas cruise?  Also for anyone that has had dinner at Teppanaki, what are you seeing for smart casual dress for men?

I would book the cabins you want now. You can always do a price adjustment if the fares go down anytime before final payment.

As mentioned above, we were booked in an interior for the 8/28 cruise.  It ended up that I had only been in an interior, not an interior with virtual balcony for this cruise.  We were in Cabin 13129 and it was TINY. 

 

We are booked in a forward facing Oceanview (10506) for the next cruise (9/5/21) and on turnover day on 8/28/21 I had gone to guest services to see if we could change the 9/5 cruise to an interior and they could move us to any interior they want this cruise as long as it is available for the next one too (I did not mind a downgrade if it meant one less move). 

 

We got a call later in the afternoon on 8/28 and apparently even with only 500 or so people onboard this cruise, there were no interiors available for both cruises. What they were able to do is move us to 10510 which is a forward facing oceanview on the end and it was just two doors down from our cabin for next week.  The entry is a little weird because 10508 & 10510 share an exterior door that requires key access and then each cabin needs the key again to access.  I think the intention is to have a family cabin area.  This new room is HUGE and is one of the ones with the "stripper pole" at the end of the bed.
