I think they were asking about their grandson spending the night in their cabin so his parents can presumably have some alone time. Not about taking him to the spa during the day and using the facilities.

I took the OP's post the same.

    Thank you.

I'm not concerned about my ability to enjoy it per se... but moreso whether or not OTHERS, (raucous partiers), will negativity impact my enjoyment, or is it pretty easy to avoid them.

when you say them, it's a very very small percentage of pax. You'd see the same on other cruise lines as well. As stated above just avoid the 3/4 night ships on any line. You are way overthinking it .

Sorry it's RC that has kids sail free... Carnival has free third and fourth person

How can I find a Carnival cruise that has 3rd/4th free? This would be ideal for taking our grand daughter. We only cruise as a couple so never really paid attention to this.

Both are ABC Islands, exact same itinerary, same month and all.  We have to fly in no matter what.

Horizon in the Havana (balcony and and interior room)

    Out of Port Canaveral

    or

Celebration but no Havana (balcony and an interior room)

    Out of Miami

We have been on the Horizon and really liked it.  Would be nice to do the Havana, which we never have. Yet, it's difficult to turn down the newness of Celebration and we have teens that would love the water slides and other fun.  Havana on the Celebration adds $1k to the trip and doesn't look as nice as Horizon but I could be convinced.

Horizon hands down. They have a GREAT Havana area on the Horizon

Post a picture of the header of the email you’re using.

i bet if you dig into it it’s spoofed and you’re actually emailing someone else; but in the mail UI; it LOOKS legit…and that’s why in the cc they have LEGIT email addresses

like others said, carnival won’t mess around with a cheque (I see you’re from canada)

if you’re asking them to refund airfare that YOU paid, NOT through carnival..there’s no way in blue hell they’d refund that

why wouldn't they refund it? They canceled the cruise not the OP.

    Hello!

Just curious, does anyone have a list of Carnival ships that have cabins for a family of 5? I know you can book connecting rooms but I like to take advantage of the kids sail free deals, and we all need to be in the same room for that (plus they are small, so it's no big deal!)

We tend to lean towards the smaller ships but any tips are appreciated!

    Thank you

    I found the following:

    Elation,Paradise,Sunrise, and Radiance.

What months does Carnival have kids sale free cruises available?

It was awesome. Had a lot of similarities to Wonder of the Seas that we have been on a couple of times. Europa was definitely designed for you know...Europe, so there were some differences like no minigolf, European style foods, and different dining times--late breakfast and late dinners, which are typical. I'd assume with World America, much of that will be different based on the market they're targeting. But overall, really beautiful ship, excellent service, good food. We had a Suite and the room was awesome, had a separate 'room' with bunkbeds separated with a curtain, and probably the largest balcony we've ever seen on the corner of the bump in. Enjoy!

thank you for taking the time to reply. Much appreciated. We have a promenade facing room. Looking forward to it. Thanks again

We have been using our PVP at Carnival for years. Over 16 bookings threw him. He has been Outstanding all threw covid and the cruise ship dance and cancellations for those times. Re bookings and making sure we always had our cruise credits. Never once though have we ever received anything in our cabin from him, not cookies, wine or fruit  basket. Are PVP's allowed to give gifts to their clients ? The only reason i bring this up is DW won a Carnival cruise threw a casino we go to and the booking had to go threw the casino dept and not my regular PVP. The person in the casino dept who did our booking also said they where going to have something extra sent to our room. Now maybe the casino dept has this flexibility. So i ask has any ones PVP done some thing extra for them ?

NO if they are even allowed to give you extra that would come out of their own pockets.

We didnt do TA this time, just Med, but I searched around quite a bit for best prices/flights. Seems like at least from the east coast London and Barcelona were about the cheapest. Round trip flights on Level direct from Boston were $550/each....a Suite on the World Europa was $3100 including free drinks/wifi/specialty restaurants.

what did you think about the World Europa? We are booked on her sister World America next year.

Just last month I sent an old fashioned paper letter mailed via the post office to Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy asking her to consider adding more variety to the ports of call and to restart sailings from San Juan even if just seasonally for the winter.   The current ports of call have too many Bahamas and too many repeats.

In case you want to join me:

    Hello all,

Kind of out of the loop and wondering if you can enlighten me a bit on some of the changes I have noticed.  Looking into booking another family trip next summer and I feel like I have very limited options compared to trips that I have done in the past.

    1) Why are there not any options to sail from San Juan PR next summer? Most of my best trips have been based out of San Juan(eliminates a ton of travel time).  Is there something going on with that port? If I remember correctly, I didn't think I noticed ANY ships leaving from SJ PR.

    2) It seems like some of my favorite islands are pretty much impossible (again, Looking in JUNE/JULY next summer) to get to now a days. Islands like Dominica/St.Lucia etc... What has changed? I love Tortola as well but all the liners seem to do nearly pointless stops there now-a-day. (...like leaving at 2pm kind of stops)

I had a family member ask this to their 'Cruise Expert' Travel Agent and they just kinda avoided the question so I thought I would ask the real experts here!

    Thank you 🙂

whenever CCL has had ships there in the past they couldn't fill ships so the prices were pretty low.

So, for months now, anytime I just go and look to see what the cheapest 7-day cruises Carnival has (according to my offers) all the cheapest ones are always out of Australia. If I don't filter out Australia, I usually have to scroll past dozens of cruises from there before I start to see ones leaving from anyplace else.

Does anyone here know why that is? Is Australia just cheaper from a logistical standpoint for Carnival? Or, is there another reason?

because of the cost to get there might have something to do with it. Just guessing

I’m just considering options for getting to MIA airport following our disembarkation from Horizon on 21st April. Our flight back to the UK doesn’t leave until 18:45 which probably means a 15:45 check-in. I can see that Carnival offer a number of excursions that include airport drop-off in addition to a straightforward airport transfer. Does anyone have any experience of these? I’m trying to avoid either hanging around at the port or having to sit at the airport with our luggage for several hours. Thanks!
