  1. Thanks, safe travels to you too, hope to see you...enjoy your first Princess voyage, the best in the business, in my humble opinion. FOUR WEEKS from tomorrow..
  2. Thanks so much for the info, we are looking so forward to this cruise, and I for one especially the MDR on previous cruises.
  3. We will be enjoying the SKY PRINCESS and all it has to offer, the week of Jan 13th. One of our traveling party is having minor issues with acid reflux if she eats after 530 pm. Fine otherwise. We are trying to decide which of the 3 MDR's to choose from and an appropriate Dinner time. ANY suggestions are appreciated, and thanks in advance.🚢
  4. My wife and I, along with five other members of our family and extended family were on the cruise when this tragic incident occurred. Many comments have already been said regarding the compassion that Holland America Cruise Line expressed for the "Family" of Fabio's co-workers, especially his group of dancers. Reading these comments brings back the emotions felt when we witnessed the compassion last week by everyone concerned especially Capt Eric. I was able to express my quick condolences to him as my wife and I past him at the conclusion of the Mass officiated by Father Charles. My eyes are filled with tears for both sadness, and also joy that Holland Cruise Lines expressed for everyone. It was heartwarming for us to know what the expression of compassion displayed means at the time of such a loss. My wife and I lost a 22 year old son less than three years ago, and I never realized what such an expression of compassion can do for a family. One thing I learned last week was Capt Eric, with the help from Holland America does truly treat their employees as family on their ships. We have been on five other cruise lines, but have now found the only one we will ever sail with in the future will be Holland, how I wish we would have found Holland many years ago. Last comment, THANK YOU Holland for everything especially having Father Charles with us on this most memorable Journey.
  5. I received Air Schedule Change notice this morning on our flights scheduled on November 25, 2021. When we booked this long anticipated voyage on Feb 3, 2021 we chose to pay extra for the AIR PLUS Program. We did choose to pay for that feature so we could pick our flight schedule using the times and flights best suited for us. The best reason that we did this was to have a non-stop flight from Minneapolis to Fort Lauderdale, and again non stop from Fort Lauderdale back to Minneapolis. Today we received notice that our non=stop had changed to leaving a half hour earlier than planned but the big problem it is now has a lay-over in Atlanta that arrives in Fort Lauderdale almost 3 hours later, hence a 3 1/2 hour longer arriving flight. At this time our return flight has not changed and is scheduled as non-stop. Am I wrong in believing what I paid extra for should at the very least have the non-stop flight or did I miss something in the small print. I tried contacting the AIR PLUS CUSTOMER SERVICE number but received a recorded message that stated I should return the call within 60 days of our departure. That means I will not be able to speak to anyone until Sept 25th. Our big concern is the COVID Regulations and not wanting to change planes for the trip of our lifetime. Any thoughts or similar comments please help me understand. Thanks in advance.
