  1. It was just an offer for the King's coronation so don't expect it again anytime soon!
  2. We've done some on Plus and never paid an upcharge. However, on our last and next cruise we have opted for Premier as the wines are so much better, plus there's the unlimited casual dining. If we weren't wine drinkers, we'd stick to plus.
  3. Does anyone have experience of pre-purchasing wine from the personaliser before cruising? It states that the price includes the service charge so does that mean that you are then free to carry the bottle around the ship, to the MDR or wherever you want to drink it?
  4. No offence to you as your post was useful, unlike others.
  5. The promo I had was May 2023, I know that's expired? I'm not trying to have the price of an expired pormo applied onboard.
  6. A) you can't do it online B) Blue Light Card discount It will cost us more to do it onboard than the price that they told us it would be on enquiring recently. I know that doing it onboard without the BLC is cheaper than paying the currently quoted price. However, I only asked if anybody had a copy of the T&C from the promo, not for anything else.
  7. It will cost us more as they won't apply BLC onbaord!
  8. I get that but I have been told twice by Princess that it was the difference between the full plus price and premier so they should honour that. If I wait until onboard, they will probably only charge that as they have no idea what deal I booked under.
  9. That's normal t&c but not related to the package. My account shows me having booked plus (showing £50). Nowhere does anything refer to the special 50% off deal.
  10. Does anybody have a copy of the T&C for this promotion which was for the King's Coronation, please? I'm trying to upgrade to premier and was previously told that it would be the difference between the Plus full price and premier. Now I've gone to do it, they are saying that it's the difference between the half price and the premier price. To a degree, I can understand the logic of that. However, to all intents and purposes, I've bought the Plus Package which is what my booking shows so should only have to pay the difference which is £15pd.
  11. I can totally understand why they may be banning or restricting door decorations though as so many people go OTT. I feel for the poor cabin stewards having to get past all the junk on the doors without knocking it off when they are trying to do the cabins.
  12. Maybe we need a vote?! I think that it's not 'real' butter would win!
  13. Yes and we are heading to the Med. Some of the locations are quite a distance from the port.
  14. Not sure but I'm still not booking.
  15. Just spotted this too. The excursions we wanted are still more than they were a couple of weeks ago and the other is sold out.
  16. I noticed it at the end of last week for our Med cruise in May. One excursion I was looking at had gone up 30%. The 'from' price wasn't available at all either, even for kids. I contacted the online chat but couldn't get a straight answer there as to what was going on so said that I'd not be going to book any as the increases were out of all proportion. The trips we were looking at were a total of $560 and had increased to over $750. I'll be keeping my money, thank you.
  17. As I know from experience, so unfair
  18. Our tender was cancelled due to windy weather on Cunard last June
  19. We took premier on our last two cruises and probably will for the next one too. Sadly, we are often disappointed with the MDR food and find that it's just not served hot enough. The maitre'd said the UK passengers like it hotter than other nationalities!
  20. Maybe you haven't book the best ship for your requirements. For example, Sapphire and Caribbean have lots of smaller MDR, although the food is the same in each of them.
  21. There's always several options, from Slices pizza and Salty Dog grill on Lido deck, to the buffet and International Cafe as well as the MDR. Why are you wanting to limit the times in the MDR?
  22. What would you do with the 2 'paid for in the package' meals then? We don't have 3 courses either but why pay $8.50 for a pizza when you've already got it paid for, unless you are wanting more than the included ones? We sometimes share an included pizza which means that our 2 each becomes 4 each.
  23. Little choice if you are a wine drinker or want to eat in a casual venue, rather than the MDR/buffet. It's not a case of paying $ there since it's already paid for.
  24. We were on Sapphire recently and, at times, you couldn't hold a conversation in Alfredo's, Vines or Good Spirits.
