Thank you.

Thanks, we will be on the Crown Princess.

We enjoy taking scenic walks while on shore and are looking for suggestions in these towns.

She has been going between L.A. and several ports in Mexico, currently in La Paz.

Same Ship Different Day is done by Alfie Smith an officer that has worked on several Princess ships. He just got off a P&O ship and is going back to England on the Crown Princess. This is a good look at the current condition of the ship.

Crown Princess has departed the anchorage in Singapore and is headed for Manila, Philippines, hopefully to pick up crew for the season.

I see that Crown Princess has been along side in Singapore for several days. Do you know what is going on with her? Seems like a long time for just a resupply/refueling.

Likely dropping off/picking up crew.
If you're interested, it's explained here:
I follow Smith, and they are exchanging crew in the anchorage area actually did the resupply and refueling at sea as well. It is really expensive to be alongside a pier and they historically spend no more than two days there.
-
Was it a dry dock or alongside a pier. The current position appears that she is alongside.

I noticed that the Crown Princess has moved from the anchorage to a pier in Singapore and has been at the pier for several days. If they are just refueling or taking on supplies, they are at the pier for a couple of days. I am wondering if they may be doing some refurbishment since the last one was done in 2018. Anyone have contacts aboard the Crown?

On my Ocean Ready Profile it says my arrival status is "Blue Lane 0/4"
with four blank bars under it.
What does this mean?

We just receieved a message that our 2022 Alaskan cruise has been changed from the Emerald Princess to the Crown Princess. Can anyone tell me if this is a positive change? Negative? Or are they identical/no differnce?
I have only sailed on the Emerald before. Thanks!
Emerald was refurbished in 2019 and the Crown was done in 2018 so she may look a bit tired.

We were switched from Emerald to Crown Princess. I noticed that the Emerald has Steamers Seafood and Planks BBQ and the Crown does not have them. What will I be missing?

Haven’t read any official word about why but think they were moved from Asia to the West Coast to be closer to prepare them for eventual deployment.
There are other ships currently drifting off the Baja coast in addition to Royal, Ruby & Emerald: HAL Koningsdam, Carnival Miracle, Celebrity Millennium, Majestic Princess). The Royal & Majestic were recently in the Port of LA for a day likely to resupply & could also be for crew changes or additions. All we can do is to speculate about why until Princess shares information with the public.
If you haven’t read this recent thread discussing this movement from Asia here’s a link:
Thanks, Hanging out in International waters is probably cheaper than being in LA

I see that the Ruby, Emerald and Royal are all off Ensenada, Mexico drifting. Any ideas why they would be there?

I don't foresee them cancelling an existing balcony booking if they have to upgrade everyone else.
My guess is they'll have to bump those with insides up, gratis, or give them a move over offer.
We shall see, I have 5 interior cabins booked and paid for in June. Havent heard anything from PCL yet, will keep you posted

Has anyone received information on limiting the number of passengers on a ship? My Princess Advisor says he has not received any information about it.

We have 5 families coming to Seattle in June for a round trip to Alaska. Some flying and some driving. I am looking for hotels that will allow 1 week parking when you stay with them. The hotel could be near the airport or terminal 91.How about parking at the terminal? I know about the two big lots for $159 & $189 per week, looking for alternatives

Thanks, you just saved me $150. I had a green jeep reserved and with the insurance it was $450.
By the way the Avis Agency and DIY Jeeps(Green Jeeps) have the same phone no. and address.
