  1. I really enjoy stopping at GSC. I like to get a clamshell because it is quieter where they are located. They are near the Abaco Taco stand which has complimentary tacos. I enjoy the tacos more than the main buffet. My husband likes the buffet better, so we ended up doing both last time we were there. If you have the drink package it works on the island. If you get a clamshell, the workers go with you while you pick one out and set it up for you. I am sure that if you get an umbrella they would also set that up for you. In the main beach area there are some shady spots here and there for loungers, but I do not know how fast they get taken up. This area is closer to the main buffet. There are plenty of tables and chairs in the shade. Keep in mind that you have to take the tender to get to the island. We made it there all three times we had GSC on our itinerary. .Some times the water is too choppy to tender over, even when it looks like a nice day. So sometimes the stop is skipped.
  2. LOL. Well there was a lot going on. The days just flew by and it did not get dark until late so I can see how you missed them. We almost forgot to go to the show one of the nights. We had a great week with good weather, and some fun crew members. I really felt like there was a good vibe throughout the ship. And we didn't even have the drink package!
  3. On Pearl last week part of deck 4 was cordoned off with a sign that said disinfecting in progress. I assumed this was where they may quarantine passengers if necessary. The way they had it set up you would not go down that hall by accident. We were in Bermuda and the gangway was also on deck 4, but far enough away from this section that it seemed very safe. I think that deck five will be a very safe and convenient location. If you get your balcony upgrade, even better, Good luck. I realize this does not tell you about Dawn. Hopefully someone who has been on Dawn recently replies.
  4. Legends and Pure Variety were the production shows. Since it is a smaller ship they do not have any of the actual Broadway Shows like Footloose that you would get on a bigger ship.
  5. We just got off the ship yesterday. They did have the production shows Legends and Pure Variety. The nights they had them, they had one show at 8pm. They also had another smaller production featuring one of the lead singers, but we missed that one. There was a comedian who said the show he did was his last one, so another one should be coming on. The last night was the aerialists. They had entertainment in the atrium and champagne bar area as well as the band Funky Roots that played by the pool and Spinnakers etc. Seaside Duo, who were excellent, and a guitar player named Cameron played in the atrium. There was Karaoke in Bliss. There were the usual game shows and Deal or No Deal which we did not attend. We had to choose between events that were happening at the same time. This is not a complaint, just to let people know that there was quite a bit going on.
