  1. I apologize, I last sailed on NCL in March 2024. The new benefits went into effect April 1 and it looks like comped drinks in casino may have been eliminated and OBC for Pearl may also have been dropped. Try googling “NCL casinos on sea benefits”.
  2. Whether you get your drinks comped while in the casino is based on your play on previous (or current) cruises. I don’t remember how many points you have to earn. If you don’t (didn’t) get a card for free drinks in your room with your players card - once you reach the required points - you’ll get free drinks.
  3. I agree with everything UKStages suggested Carnival applies your OBC to pre-booked excursions (ones you book before you get on ship). NCL doesn’t do that. By the time I get on board I don’t have anything to spend my OBC on. Very frustrating. On one cruise I waited until I got on board to book an excursion so I could use my OBC and it was sold out. I hate the convenience fee in the casino too. I charge everything to my NCL credit card so I “make” 3% on my purchases but if you aren’t at least Sapphire in casino they charge you 3% to charge your play so it’s a wash. To someone else’s comment about Princess - I also have stopped getting “Plus” packages included in my Come Back and Cruise offers.
  4. My Certificate didn’t “say” it but I was also told that multiples could be used for TripleUps. That promotion was going on during the March Bliss sailing in March, but I was “told” the CasNext definitely COULD be combined with CruiseNext. Very strange. My friend just got off the Dawn less than 3 weeks ago and her CasNexts also don’t have any expiration dates on them….sounds like not all the ships are using the same templates for the CasNext Certificates - I guess I’ll have to call. Thanks.
  5. I just got a CasNext March 23, 2024….there is no expiration date on it. I had previously gotten one and it said it had to be used within a year of being issued….I’m thinking maybe they have eliminated the expiration period (the way they did with CruiseNext). Unlike CruiseNext, CasNext are not transferable You CAN use 2 CasNexts for 1 stateroom during DoubleUp promotions. The Certificate says CasNext cannot be combined with Cruise First Certificates The Certificate “says” it can’t be combined with CruiseNexts either BUT when I got the Certificate both the casino host and the Future Cruise Director told me that during DoubleUp promotions, it CAN. I haven’t tried to use this CasNext yet….
