  1. They want you! They want you! They want you as a new recruit!
  2. @rkacruiser, it's a much better white tent to "serve notice" on NCL for their audacity to white-tent as well. šŸ˜
  3. I have a suggestion... 700 sq. ft. of "Take that, NCL!"
  4. (I've never been on a ship with a craps table, so this observation comes from casinos on terra firma.) A craps table is more labor-intensive than card games. MSC is probably looking to keep casino labor down by avoiding a game that has (at minimum) a dealer AND a stickman AND a boxman. Just my 3 yen.
  5. That makes more sense, really. If YCers are happy with their food, the motivation is somewhat diminished to go to specialty dining. For the rest of the ship, the specialty dining is a bigger step up from buffet and MDR. If passenger budget allows, non-YCers will provide better returns on the free food tour.
  6. Happily, for those who wish to refresh their luggage, there are wheeled garment bags with collapsible handles that can be unfolded and hung like a regular garment bag. Very handy for those who are disinclined to shoulder the load. šŸ˜ƒ
  7. I use a high capacity garment bag for both our dress-up clothes. I put dry cleaner's bags on each individual hanger AND garment to decrease friction. My tux shoes and two pair of her shoes are in cloth bags and left loose in the bottom of the bag. With odds & ends in the bag's many pockets, that makes my carry-on bag. I simply ask the flight attendant at the door of the plane if I may hang the garment bag in the closet. Works like a charm.
  8. It means the pizza slaps. šŸ™ƒ (It's very good pizza.)
  9. Don't menschen it, Morpheus; we're all here for the C.C. team.
  10. For our February cruise, I almost packed an ascot for afternoon tea. Maybe for a Mediterranean cruise.
  11. The greatest indignity? It's just a bottle of pink Prosecco on ice.
  12. "It was hard to know how to feel. I had never been in a battle like this one."
  13. I'll take overdressed every single day of the week and twice on Sunday. As I've posted elsewhere: I'm going to the trouble of traveling to the middle of the ocean. I'll damn sure dress better than dinner at Olive Garden. (That's daywear. It's tux-time at 6pm.)
  14. You know, steerage is actually loads of fun. If the icebergs can be avoided, of course.
  15. With the recent agro levels on CC boards, perhaps MSC can do their part by adding a new embarkation day excursion to New York sailings. It would be a predawn trip to Weehawken, available only in groups of four.
