So basically once CocoCay got a pier, SOU lost a ship. Coincidence?
Probably lots of factors, including PDCC and even the return to LA, plus the greater QC capacity. Although, if they focus itineraries on Perfect Day then they are getting revenue from both the ship itself and the destination, so it’s a win win for Royal!

I can't remember how long ago but we had the Independence and a Voyager class ship out of Southampton for a season or two.
This is the deployment from Southampton since 2010. Every year that Independence was homeported in UK after 2012 she was accompanied by another ship, usually Voyager Class.
2010 - Independence
2011 - Independence
2012 - Independence
2013 - Independence & Adventure
2014 - Independence & Adventure
2015 - Anthem & Explorer
2016 - Independence & Navigator
2017 - Independence & Navigator
2018 - Independence & Navigator
2019 - Independence & Explorer
2020 - Anthem (Covid - No Sailings)
2021 - Anthem
2022 - Anthem
2023 - Anthem
2024 - Anthem

Indy and one other ship maybe?
Only evidence of Independence at the minute, no sign of a second ship for Southampton. 😢 -

Hello,
They could still surprise us all by basing it in Harwich.
Regards,
Cublet
PS: But I'm not holding my breath.
As far as I know, no major cruise lines sail from Harwich anymore, Dover would probably be more likely if anything. But I would probably say there was more chance of them giving everyone on this forum a free cruise on Icon from Southampton, as stupid as that sounds. 😂I think myself and @little britain would collapse if that actually happened, they would have to carry me on in a stretcher! 😂

Wonder seems to fall off in June, where do we things she’s heading 🧐
Potentially just have not completed bookings yet, similar to Icon which has just added some more dates. -

Quantum used to be in China. The cashiers box in the high rollers casino, a.k.a DL is still there. Signage still bilingual. Even the pool deck restaurant was not fully westernized, just a different offering. That's easy enough to change.
If any ship can be repurposed for China, Quantum can be done over a weekend if not quicker.
This was my thinking too! Quantum was the ship home-ported in Asia before Spectrum came on the scene and as a result is already adapted for this market in many different ways. It would make sense for her to do a direct swap with Anthem, when she takes over Australia and Alaska in 2025. -

Thanks again for your hard work. I’m trying to figure out what O-class ship may be coming to Bayonne in summer 2025. Assuming that Allure heads to Europe for its check-up, and assuming that the above schedule is actual ships and not placeholders, the only possibility would be Symphony —— heading north around May 8th or so.
Unless they would consider doing longer summer itineraries on Oasis , but I really doubt that.
There are 2 possibilities, either Symphony or Utopia, providing that the above aren’t just placeholders. The first thing to consider is does Utopia have retractable funnels? Then, with the amount of marketing that Royal have put into Utopia being the ‘Worlds Biggest Weekend’, I would doubt that she would do this for just one year, especially as profit margins will be higher for short sailings. My gut call is that it will be Symphony again for the 2025 Summer season in NJ.5 hours ago, huntnewt said:With that, the question then becomes, what O class will be based in Galveston? I do not imagine an O class (will be Harmony in April 2025) doing cruises to St. Maarten from Galveston. This makes me wonder if Galveston will get Wonder, Utopia, or maybe Icon 2?
I also doubt that Harmony would travel this far from Galveston, especially as Oasis Class from Galveston has some of the lowest pp prices in the fleet, it just doesn’t seem viable to me. I think it’s important to remember that Harmony was the original placeholder for Icon, could this be the case for Icon 2, especially since bookings don’t appear until August 2025? But would they really have Icon and Icon 2 sailing to the same Caribbean ports?
As you can see, there are many many questions but hopefully the picture will become clearer as more ports release their bookings for this season.

For two years we have been warned of the imploding economy in the US except it didn't happen. Not yet at least.
Perhaps the cruise market won't implode in China just as it hasn't (yet) in the US.
MSC definitely seems to think Asia is performing well. They have recently announced that they’re adding a 2nd ship in the region from 2024. They’ve got Belissima in Baoshan Wusongkou Cruise Terminal, Shanghai and Splendida in Shenzen/Taiwan depending on season. -

Any idea where Quantum is going April 2025 ?
It usually does a repo from Brisbane to Seattle but I can see one.
Is it going to stay in Australia year round ?
After the 24/25 Australia season, Quantum is planned to replace Anthem in China and Anthem will replace Quantum in Alaska for Summer 25. Anthem will then move to Australia in time for the 25/26 season.

X Infinity in Europe out of Barcelona and Athens January - March 2025. Will RCI leave a ship too ?
Voyager OTS out of Athens for Winter 2025 (November/December 25) , according to port bookings. Looks like Celebrity are a year ahead with the Winter Med idea.- 2

Found it!! If you find out, can you give me a hint?? LOL
This thread is actually for Holland America, who usually release itineraries earlirt than RCG brands. These types of leaks only usually happen right before the deployment release, when Royal share the itineraries with specific TA’s to prep their websites. It is also likely that Royal’s Summer/Fall 25/26 itineraries are far from finalised.

Edge - Apex - Ascent - Beyond - Pinnacle ?
Based on more recent trademarks, my money is on ‘Celebrity Excel’ or ‘Celebrity Xcel’. I wonder if the new CEO, Laura, has had any influence on this and whether the 5th edge-class was going to be called something else under Lisa’s leadership, but Laura wants to put her own stamp on it. -

Scarlet Lady heads to Europe in April 2024 for the summer and is then expected to spend some time in dry dock, so if she is coming back to the Caribbean in winter 24/25 then it might be a late short season if the dry dock rumour is true.
Correct! I don’t see Caribbean bookings until mid December 2024, so likely have a dry-dock at the end of the Mediterranean season and then do a TA to San Juan. There is a call in Funchal, Madeira on 4th December, which will be a TA call. The date she departs dry-dock would depend on whether the TA is a non-rev or passenger sailing, but I believe it will be the latter. This will likely start from Lisbon or Barcelona at the end of November.

Deployment Prediction
I thought I would set out my prediction of home ports for the latest itinerary release (October 24 - October 25), just to summarise all port booking suggestions in one post. I will continue to update this post specifically with any changes over the coming weeks, before the deployment is made official.
November 24 - April 25 (Winter 24 / Spring 25):
Scarlet - Caribbean (San Juan, Puerto Rico)
Valiant - Short Caribbean (Miami, Florida)
Resilient - Australia (Sydney/Melbourne)
Brilliant - Long Caribbean (Miami, Florida) ??????
May 25 - October 25 (Summer 24 / Fall 25):
Scarlet - Mediterranean (Barcelona, Spain)
Valiant - Caribbean (Miami, Florida)
Resilient - Eastern Mediterranean / Adriatic (Athens, Greece)
Brilliant - Northern Europe (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

Also, Scarlet Lady will remain in Miami throughout Summer 25, as she has multiple calls scheduled in Key West (Florida) throughout the season.
UPDATE:
These bookings in Key West have now been changed to Valiant Lady for Summer 25, so VL will likely remain in Miami and Scarlet Lady will come across to Europe alongside Resilient and Brilliant.
Scarlet’s eastbound TA will visit Cadiz, Spain, so likely to enter the Mediterranean.

I was on Anthem in June and if you’re referring to the cushioned sun beds outside of the North Star Bar (see photo), then they are free on a first-come first-served basis with no reservations required.

I am watching the cruise lists of ports a long time. Brilliant Ladys calls in Amsterdam are almost one year old, that's why I think that they should not be actual anymore. But 2 months ago Resilient Lady appeared in Amsterdams cruise list from 27 August 2024 until 21 Sep 2024 in 5 day frequencies.
I would tend to agree, but BL isn’t booked in anywhere else across the world over this time period, yet RL. It could be a simple ship swap, but I can’t see that all of those ports above would show calls for BL if that was the case, surely some more would be updated?I will keep my eye on it and let’s see how it pans out.

Are there any dates for the above locations? Curious to see what the plan might be and if its over winter in Europe or just the summer season and off to the USA etc in October/ November 2024
Just over the Summer. The TA looks like it will be early May from the US/Caribbean to Europe and late October going back.
Deployment 2025-26 booking season begins
in Royal Caribbean International

Brilliance looks to be in Northern Europe (Amsterdam) over the Summer, while Jewel looks to be spending some time sailing from Fort Lauderdale. The only two remaining are Serenade and Radiance, so if Royal keeps up with their current pattern it definitely looks like both will be sailing in the region.
